Not Changed at All

Zhang Jing brought his eldest son back to Lin City. When he returned home, Zhang Li had already returned from the hospital.

In the past, every time she went to the hospital to see Jing Mo, she would come back with a strange expression, but today was different.

She seemed to be in good condition. When she saw Zhang Jing and his son, she even greeted them with a smile.

Zhang Jing asked suspiciously, "How's his condition?"

Zhang Li smiled and said, "Not much. His legs are already broken and he can't feel anything at all. The person who hit him was very heavy-handed. Although his legs were saved and weren't amputated, the doctor said that the muscles in his legs will atrophy bit by bit in the future until they're only skin and bones."

Zhang Jing was slightly surprised for a moment. It seemed that those people had come prepared.

"Have you called the police?" Zhang Jing asked.
