Cheng Lang pinned Xing Shu down and looked at her. She had fallen asleep from exhaustion. He suddenly wondered what he would do if Xing Shu had said that she wanted to end this relationship.

Cheng Lang could not lie to himself. He did not know if it was because of his pride as a man or because he could not stand being dumped. Cheng Lang lowered his head and called out, "Xing Shu."

Xing Shu was so tired that she could not even lift her fingers. She could only mumble in a daze.

Cheng Lang leaned into her ear, and said softly and stubbornly, "It can only end when I say so."

Xing Shu was very tired and did not know what he was talking about. She slept very soundly.

When she woke up the next day, Xing Shu felt sore all over. She rolled over in bed and opened her eyes because of the sunlight shining in from the window.
