Nothing could have prepared what Felicity was about to experience. A white explosion occurred as the flames engorged the rune that shattered, and Felicity covered her head as the force made Felicity black out for a moment.
It was as though all her senses were dulled out for a second with the noise in her ears going quiet along with her vision going into a black haze with white splotches. It felt as though her head was getting shoved underwater when suddenly she realized that she was going to be.
As she came into consciousness, her body was pulled down, and her eyes were awakened to pale blues and pinks as she flipped through the sky, tunneling down. Gasping for breath, Felicity grasped the last ends of her consciousness as everything flowed back into her remembrance.
Tears slipped out of the corner of her eyes, and she glanced down to see that she was going to be submerged in the water once she fell into the ocean. She didn't know how high up she was, but it felt as though she was falling in slow motion.
The engyure that used to be in the sky, swirling ominously, had disappeared, the knowing red bleeding sky was now lighted up with fairy-like tones. She couldn't fathom what had just happened, but it was peaceful as Felicity took in the sky since that was her best view.
The fear solidified in her stomach when she realized that Medina wasn't by her side. Felicity hoped that Medina wasn't stuck in the caverns within the odd conformity that was found inside the engyure.
It was at that moment when all the thought became crystal clear that the engyures were not of this world. The fate of the Earth was about to change, and she had a feeling that no one yet everyone knew that it was going to be so.
