Welcome to Our Castle!

"You must be kidding, General Frost." Ein snickered as he shook his head. "You know that I can't do that."

Although General Frost kept his serious stare for a while, he then lowered his head as he sighed deeply.

"Well, I wanted to try at least," he elaborated. "The Count is always on the lookout for promising talents, so if he knew that I didn't even try to recruit you, I may get scolded instead."

After the short exchange, General Frost went around the camp, busily arranging for some of the soldiers to go back to the city first and hand over the surrendered bandits to the local army. The rest of the team was cleaning up the damaged carriages and salvaging items that could still be used.

A quick count gives five totaled carriages, with two having slight burns. Less than half of the cargo from the totaled carriages survived the ordeal. After redistributing the salvaged contents to the other vacant carriages, the cleanup was done.
