Knock First Before You Enter!

While Ein and the others were fighting the paladins, Lilith was busying herself with watching over the entire dungeon. She ordered the wolves and goblins to move the captured soldiers to their confinement areas in batches, making sure that there was no chance of them fighting back.

"... This feels ominous," Lilith muttered.

The situation was too peaceful. The enemy, with a high chance of being Lucifer himself, should have a good grasp of their power. Despite that, they sent 5 million troops almost unprotected and even used 500,000 paladins as some sort of diversion.

As someone who knew Lucifer's personality and his meticulousness regarding planning, she knew that it wasn't the end of it. She nervously scoured the entire dungeon for signs of him but was left with absolutely no trace of him whatsoever.

Minutes passed, and Lilith's suspicions grew into doubt. "Was I just overthinking it?"
