For as long as Lilly can remember, her family has been servants for the Lockwood's and she vowed to free her family from their cage.

Lillian froze, what could she say, yes? Definitely not possible, then no? Won't he realize she is lying?

Lillian nodded vigorously at what her mother said, /"she met us crying and thought something had happened to her cousin so she stayed but mom explained to her and she apologized and said sorry to me before leaving. You could have met her if you were a little earlier, she left not long ago./"

Shane nodded once and said nothing, he looked from mother to daughter and shrugged. He knew they were lying but he did not want to pry. /"Are you getting better?/" He changed the topic by asking Lillian.
