Next day was a great and a scary one. Granny had to get her operation done. We were happy about her getting rid of cancer, but of course, every surgery is a dangerous and a serious one.
But that morning was a happy, a different and the best one. I woke up, understanding that soon Raf was going to come and there wouldn’t be an awkward silence or the pain beating in the chest, because of the unspoken words. There would be his hugs, support, love and the knowledge of his feelings for me.
That was what I have been craving for, since my mom died. I needed the person, who would take care of me, understand and love me, the same way, she did once. And Raf appeared to be that person.
