Dragons are born in twins set, one dominant while the other is submissive. 
One can't survive without the other, the dominants are sent to military schools, they'll spend most of their life-controlling their Dragon side.
While the other half goes to Dragon Academy, they'll learn how to cope with being submissive, they are categorized into littles, pets, or simply submissive. 
The older dominant would meet them there, teach them how to shift, protect them from all dangers, and finally claim them as theirs forever. 
Kaiden is a special case, a little who never regressed before, she also never cried, until crossing roads with Adrian, a fiery red dragon.

Dragon Academy

/"Wakey wakey/" I heard someone says while they shook me awake, I groaned and turned the other way wanting to sleep some more. They just chuckled and kept shaking me, until one eye opened followed by the second one, I looked annoyed at Anna.

/"Oh don't give me such a pout, it's your first day, come on honey, it's time/" Anna says picking me out of the bed above the railing and on the floor, my leg was still sore and sensitive, I jumped when it hit the ground.

/"I'm sorry Kaiden, that should heal in a day or two. If it start hurting too much just tell me okay?/" She says and I nod, the pain wasn't unbearable, it was just there.

I went to the bathroom but Anna followed me, I turned to look at her while she just smiled at me, acting if I'm being silly.

/"I have to check Kaiden/" she says with the same smile.
