Dragons are born in twins set, one dominant while the other is submissive. 
One can't survive without the other, the dominants are sent to military schools, they'll spend most of their life-controlling their Dragon side.
While the other half goes to Dragon Academy, they'll learn how to cope with being submissive, they are categorized into littles, pets, or simply submissive. 
The older dominant would meet them there, teach them how to shift, protect them from all dangers, and finally claim them as theirs forever. 
Kaiden is a special case, a little who never regressed before, she also never cried, until crossing roads with Adrian, a fiery red dragon.

<p>That man scares me, he does so badly, the second we walked into his office I felt like I'm suffocating, all I wanted was Adrian but he wasn't there yet, Anna tried to hold me while we wait, but he took forever to come, hot tears came down my face, I didn't want to cry, but I also couldn't control the tears. </p>

<p>When Adrian came I went to hide in his arms, I still had to tell you my dream, I was so happy to tell Adrian about my dragon, even she was proud to show him how cute we are. I wonder what's Adrian's dragon-like, his eyes shift to red, not the ugly red, more like of a crimson red. What kind of dragon is he? I should ask him later, for now I listened to the scary man say that I have to go with Adrian. </p>
