Dragons are born in twins set, one dominant while the other is submissive. 
One can't survive without the other, the dominants are sent to military schools, they'll spend most of their life-controlling their Dragon side.
While the other half goes to Dragon Academy, they'll learn how to cope with being submissive, they are categorized into littles, pets, or simply submissive. 
The older dominant would meet them there, teach them how to shift, protect them from all dangers, and finally claim them as theirs forever. 
Kaiden is a special case, a little who never regressed before, she also never cried, until crossing roads with Adrian, a fiery red dragon.

Dragon Academy

/"Pidge it's bath time/" I call to my baby dragon, she found a new hobby in life, and that happens to be my phone. She made me download few games for her, and now she's obsessed.

/"Nu, thank you/" was her reply, still taken by the phone.

/"Hand me that Kaiden/" I order in a firm voice asking for my phone back, her lower lip starts to tremble, her eyes water.

/"Nu, mine/" she answers, on the verge of tears.

/"No, Kaiden. It's mine, and play time is over/" I say firmly again, it's my fault I did that to begin with, I take the phone away from her and the waterworks starts.

/"Nu, fair!/" She fights me over wanting it back.

/"Kaddy/" I say shaking my head and pulling her toward me. /"There's a nice hot bath waiting for you with bubbles, and toys.../" I try talking her into a bath.

/"And duckies?/" She asks sniffling.
