I stopped going downstairs when I heard the voice of the man he was talking to on the cellphone. As it just landed upright on the table, maybe they were on a video call. Kobe glanced at me but only for a moment.

/"Don't bother me in the morning, you'd better not call./"

I even heard Kobe answer and I went to the kitchen to prepare our breakfast. I'm looking in the refrigerator for something to cook when Kobe comes in.
