She had to do the walk of shame just like everyone else, it was obvious to the people in the hotel lobby but even more obvious to the brooding godlike man standing opposite her leaning with his arms crossed, clearly trying to figure out what's wrong with this girl.
He watched her with curious eyes. He knew exactly who she was and he wasn't new to the idea of the walk of shame he'd made girls do it plenty of times.
After that time In the elevator both Freya and Alex haven't able to keep their distance they always seem to end up together again and again. 
Freya haunts Alex's mind, constantly reminding him that some idiot had the audacity to take all of her and dump her like some old trash, it infuriated him. 
He had a life to pursue but for some reason he'd rather use his energy on the beauty he couldn't forget.

/"they're alright, turns out my dad is getting married again/" I sensed that this wasn't good news so I turned around still in his arms.

/"I respect that my dad wants to be happy but she just isn't right for him. You know when you can just tell/" I wanted to understand more but I couldn't. from when I've spoken to his dad I always suspected that they were just your normal family.

/"did you get to meet her,/" I ask him peering up at him. /"I did she wasn't really interested in me however didn't care to meet her boyfriend's son /"he rolls his eyes at this.

/"if she is not willing to take time to get to know his son then you're right she isn't the woman for him,/" I say stroking my thumb and down his neck to soothe him.

We let go after a while and sat with the others just casually drinking and chatting mostly about remi.
