She had to do the walk of shame just like everyone else, it was obvious to the people in the hotel lobby but even more obvious to the brooding godlike man standing opposite her leaning with his arms crossed, clearly trying to figure out what's wrong with this girl.
He watched her with curious eyes. He knew exactly who she was and he wasn't new to the idea of the walk of shame he'd made girls do it plenty of times.
After that time In the elevator both Freya and Alex haven't able to keep their distance they always seem to end up together again and again. 
Freya haunts Alex's mind, constantly reminding him that some idiot had the audacity to take all of her and dump her like some old trash, it infuriated him. 
He had a life to pursue but for some reason he'd rather use his energy on the beauty he couldn't forget.

The only one

Today was the day of Emma's party. I had just finished at uni since I had lectures at 9am. Now it was 1.30 and I was on my way to the party. I decided to wear a warm turtleneck jumper paired with my favourite white denim skirt and my sneakers.

Alex text me saying that he was already there and said he had bought her a gift. I was happy he did because I had no idea what to get her so instead, I had made her a batch of chocolate chip cookies. I also brought her a card with a gift card inside to buy what she wants.

When I pulled up to the address, I noticed there was quite a few cars parked outside and as I stepped out my car, I could hear kids laughing. Emma is a happy joyful child so I'm sure she has a lot of friends over.

As soon as I was walking up to the door it opened before I could reach it and her parents stood there with relief all over their face. Did they not think I was coming or something?
