#Chapter26

Minutes, hours, days. A week passed by and Lana already felt like she had lost her sanity. Although he hadn't touched her since the last time he did so, although he'd kept his distance from her. The silence within the walls and the loneliness was breaking her down just as bad as he had.

She was tired of fighting him. She was tired of resisting him. He had said her only way out was for her to love him. He had said that he needed to be able to trust her. He needed to know that she wouldn't turn him in to the cops once he set her free from her prison. The prison he had granted her instead of killing her. She knew finding out his identity was going to cost her, she just didn't think it would be to this extent, although she had considered he would go as far as keeping her from the real world, she didn't want to believe it at the time and now, she regretted ever taking off that mask of his, she regretted ever hearing his voice.
