It was over. Everything was finished, it was too late to try and save myself now, I had saw his face, he had showed me who he was and there was no turning back. I’d look right at him, right into those dark eyes, I’d saw him. Unmasked.

He was strikingly handsome and as much as I didn’t want to be attracted to him, I was but I would give away my attraction for him to get back my freedom. I had tried so hard not to break down, not to cry, not to feel sorry for myself, not to think about Rose’s death my family that were waiting for me back at home but now that I knew it was all over, that my life was done with, I couldn’t stop thinking about everything that was happening around me, it felt like I was trapped in a box and everything else was happening around me that I could control. It was nauseating.
