#Chapter10
Marcus Point of View
I sighed for the nth time as I reached my office. It left me in a sour mood after what in the room. The face my mate made did baffle me. I’ve become a monster and made her suffer. It wasn’t her fault in the first place. Moon Goddess was the one that paired us, but I directed my anger in her, and she became the unwanted mate.

I was annoyed. I saw blood and wanted to rip his throat. It was the first time in my life that I felt it. Even though I kept denying her sole existence as my mate, the bond was strong.
The door burst open, and Joseph went inside.
/"You looked…bothered,/" Joseph said and sat on the chair in front of me. I made a face and straightened my back.
