Chapter16

#Chapter16

Anya's Point of View

/"Where are you going, Marcus?/" I asked him while crossing my arms. I was in the kitchen with Lorraine when I saw Marcus pass by the door.

/"Into the woods, baby. My wolf is itching to run,/" he said, then shrugged his shoulders. I shook my head in disagreement.

/"No, you can't. You're still injured and not yet fully healed,/" I said. Although the healing abilities of a werewolf were fast, I still can't risk it. I know Marcus's wolf really wants to get away and run until he gets tired after being confined in a room for days. Marcus approached me, grabbed my waist, placed his head on the crook of my neck, and whispered.

/"Please, baby?/" he said, then lick my earlobe. Gosh! I wanted to let go of the moan stuck in my throat, but I held back because I knew Lorraine was looking at us with her sheepish smile.
