34 Talks with the zenith empire and final stop before returning to pangea

Alex arrived in the capital and sensed something suspicious—multiple people were following him and his team. He sent the Assassin X group guarding him on a hunting trip. When they arrived at the hotel, they were met with someone.

"Hello there, Emperor of the Draconian Empire and his companions," said the chief of the intelligence department. Behind him were eight other agents, fully armed. When Alex saw this, he sat in a nearby chair. Ronald and Sean increased their alertness. After Alex snapped his fingers, ten Assassin X members emerged from the shadows, fully armed and wearing advanced gear. They were an extension of the imperial force, trained by the Assassin X, called 'The Emperor's Shadow.' Only ten members were assigned to him, and below them were over a hundred Imperial Guards who could be summoned if needed.

The chief of intelligence was shocked, and the men behind him became agitated, drawing their weapons. The chief raised his hand to stop them.

"So, this is the fearsome Assassin X who killed an entire division of my agents. Even the best fighters were slaughtered by this so-called Emperor's Shadows."

"So, what do you want?" Alex began thinking about what they possibly wanted.

"It's not me that is needed, but my emperor has a request for you."

"For what?"

"Head to his Imperial palace, and he will speak with you."

Alex nodded and spoke.

"Oh, I know your emperor's plan. You planned to surround my ship. But after that hunting trip that my unit did—well, let's say we enjoyed the gifts and loot." As Alex finished speaking, one of the Assassins threw a sword covered in blood. When the chief of intelligence looked closer, he was angered but calmed down since he knew he couldn't win.

"I see. I knew my men can't win against them. Even my own son can't beat or scratch them." He stood up, anger and frustration filling his eyes as he looked at the person who threw the sword at his son.

Ten hours later, after Alex ate and packed things up, preparing to leave, he ordered Sean and Ronald to wait outside the palace. He ordered his warship down in the main water docks to prepare to sail.

As soon as Alex arrived at the palace, he was led to a drawing room where the emperor was waiting for him. When Alex arrived, he felt a presence similar to a god watching over the room. He found the source, not the emperor, but somewhere located in the palace.

"So, you're the emperor of the Draconian Empire? Pleasure to meet you," Emperor Ludolf stood up and extended his hand for a handshake. Alex, seeing this, also shook his hand. After that, Alex sat in a nearby chair, and Ludolf began speaking.

"I know what's your purpose here, Emperor of the Draconian Empire. My request is simple: order Sean to stay here on the continent. This is where his loyalty lies, not with you or the other continents."

Alex felt pressure on his body, but he responded by leaking his energy. His silver eyes began glowing slowly, and this small leak was almost an aura of a god. Alex released it, making the palace shudder.

ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAR

A draconic roar was heard outside of the imperial palace, making Emperor Ludolf shake a bit. Alex began speaking.

"I came here on peaceful terms just to find the man for the job. I came here to listen to your request, and now your founder is pressuring me. How dare you."

BOOM

The door burst open, and Alex stood up. The people who came in were imperial guards of the Zenith empire—three of them, with the third man being the commander.

"Your Majesty, a large dragon has appeared in front of the imperial palace! And two armed persons also appeared, and they were with the guest. One has wings, and the other one just glides in the air, surrounded by lightning." Seeing the tension in the air, the commander drew his sword and got ready for battle.

Alex gazed at them and then looked at the emperor once more, saying a thing that would define his position as emperor to other monarchs.

"Your just an emperor, but me, I am a God Emperor. Know your place." He turned to the door, and someone blocking it just said, "Move," and he moved his body unconsciously.

Outside, Alex saw the dragon that materialized and knew that he must visit the Dragon dimension soon. But for now, he needed to stabilize the continent and the portal towards it.

"Return." Soon, the dragon began to disappear slowly, and Alex turned to Sean and Ronald, who were flying.

"Time to leave," and soon both of them landed and began walking to the sky port located in the east of the city.

Five hours later, they arrived at the water port and boarded Alex's cruiser, departing for another continent called Alkemla. A normal continent, although quite far away from any other continent, a new topic had risen, where any other empire did not care, but Alex cared. He heard that a single man established his own kingdom, named Aurelia Alchymia, and the said army that helped him establish it was an army that followed him only. They were like moving statues, but made of iron cavalry, a fearsome army that could slaughter with no remorse and create a navy that would latch onto ships and tear up their hulls. They only followed a single command called the Alchemic King, and he could create walls that could be automated and manned.

Back to Alex, right now, Alex was in a training room with Ronald and Sean, who were having a spar. Alex had a clipboard on the side, checking if their armor placed limits on them. A few hours later, "Your Majesty, we're at the coast, and Alkemla's capital is a few hundred kilometers away." The captain saluted to Alex.

"All right, Sean, you're coming with me, and Ronald, scout around the perimeter of the ship and make sure no one is patrolling."

"What happens if I find one?" Ronald raised an eyebrow with a smirk appearing on his face.

"Then use your lightning to generate a thunderstorm and sink them." Alex responded with a neutral face.

"And, Captain, hide our flag and prepare to cloak our ship." Soon, Alex left the bridge with Sean and began to levitate to the capital of the Alchemic Kingdom, also exploring the countryside. He saw the people prospering, moving around, and saw moving statues patrolling. When Alex went to other cities, he saw only a dozen real soldiers patrolling and interacting with citizens. After Alex kidnapped some guards using his shadow guards and after getting directions, he finally arrived but met with resistance.

BOOM

Sean bashed his shield against a nearby sentinel knight, which was what they were called. Soon, a dozen more came in, and Alex was in the sky, smashing skyscraper-tall sentinel knights with his bare hands. Alex swung his arms and legs, and more of them kept repairing.

"Sean, end this and blow a hole to the throne room!" Alex shouted and pulled out his gun, aiming at one of the sentinels coming toward him.

"Time to test this forbidden power." He pulled the trigger, and instantly black light covered the entire sentinel knights. After one second, it disappeared instantly. Alex turned to the other three and fired the same shot, and all three disappeared.

BOOOOOOOOM!

Alex turned to Sean, who slashed his sword down, and the entrance had an Alex landed. Both headed inside.

After twenty minutes, they arrived. They saw the Alchemic King sitting on his throne, with two other people, one holding no weapons, and the other one having two short swords behind.

"Why have you come here?" Alex heard a voice, and tracing it back, he saw the throne begin levitating.

"Simple. I'm here to recruit you."

"For what?"

"Simple. Have you heard of Pangea?"

"Yes, the land of the gods, and you might be the emperor."

"Of the Draconian Empire, and I'm here to recruit you to my squad and not here to conquer."

After done speaking, Alex waited for a few minutes. Alex saw the throne moving forward, and at the sides, multiple spears began to materialize. The Alchemic King spoke.

"My name is Romeo, king of this kingdom. If you want my loyalty and service, prove to me that you're stronger." Soon, dozens of spears shot out towards Alex. When Sean was about to intercept them, Alex stopped him and aimed his pistol and fired only one shot.

SHHHHIIIIIINNNNG!

Soon, the spears disappeared midway, shocking Romeo.

"What did you do?" Romeo tried to lift the hammer but felt it stuck to the ground.

"Just surrender. I made your hammer weigh as much as this continent's weight."

"You think you won because you cut off my main powers from the connector."

Soon, Romeo raised his hand, and an iron-made sword came out. When he pulled it out, he aimed at Alex, and then small streaks of lightning spread through the floors, and spikes began coming out and heading towards Alex. Alex slashed them or dodged them, moving slowly towards Romeo, who was already preparing to attack.

BOOM

Before Romeo could attack, he was already being held by the neck by Alex. When he looked down, he knew he couldn't win and said, "I yield."

Alex released his grip over him, and Alex said, "Well, finish all things needed to be done in this kingdom, and we leave. But I would like to speak to you about this kingdom's future."

To be continued.
