#Chapter34
Good Things Come To Those Who Wait.
/"Wait a minute,/" Parker said slowly, /"You forgave him?!/"
I nodded. Parker and Markey looked astounded. Ian stood nervously, against the wall. He looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here right now.
/"Why?/"
I shrugged. /"He's my forever, Parker. I know you probably think I'm stupid, but it's true./"
/"You can't just forgive him like that!/"
/"I can,/" I couldn't help but insist. /"And I did. I can't hold a grudge over my happiness./"
Parker was going to say something else, but Marley held his hand.
/"Khlo's right,/" she said, softly. /"It was their fight, their choice. And don't tell me you'll let the person you love most leave you./"
Parker looked away. I knew what he was thinking. Ian had hurt me, quite a lot. But I had hurt him too. More than Parker or Marley could understand. I left him when I knew we had something that would last forever.
