Tatiana was finally bought back home, and Patricia stayed over to take care of her until her wounds healed. She had called Steve a few times before leaving the hospital but he didn't pick up.

"You should stop staring at your phone, I don't think he will call, "Patricia said.

"I just need to talk to him," she said.

"I don't think he will listen, you made it pretty clear with your answer "

"He was being persistent & the words came out "

Patricia laughed," Stop lying to yourself honey, those were here pretty clear and straight from your heart they didn't just come out from nowhere"

She got up trying his number again.

"I said stop it, go lay down and rest. The truth is Eric went out to look for him so he will call when he has information about him "Patrica said taking her phone.

"But we don't know where he is? "

"But his bodyguards know, and Bob seemed to have got a friend among them while we looked for you, "she said.

They reached her room and lay down.," Bob? you mean Jack"a head of security"?"

"Yes that Bob and am sure Eric already knows where Steve is already. So don't worry, I will wake you up when he calls me "

Eric walked into the private room of the club after Bob showed him where Steve was. The room was filled with bottles of liquor and Steve was laying in one of the seats half awake.

"Hi, buddy you okay? "he asked.

Steve scoffed," Did you come here to gloat at me cause your friend won "

Eric sat down next to him," No am not, am here cause Tatiana is worried about you "

"No is she not, all she thinks about is, Jack," Steve said.

Eric helped him up and sighed," You know she was attacked that day after you left her alone in the garden ".

"What? "Steve turned to him." Is she okay... I need to go see her ".

"She is fine, Jack saved her. Only a small cut on her neck but it's healing now and she's even back home now ". Eric said.

Steve dropped back in the seat," See him everywhere, saving her every time, it makes me look useless "

"The reason Jack keeps beating you to her is that even if he knows he did wrong he doesn't give up and keeps coming back. And you Steve claim to love her but don't make the effort to fight for her, yes you have tried but you need to show her that you can fight for her even when knowing you don't have a chance. That is how Jack still has chance ".

"But she loves him so much, I can't change her heart, "he said.

"She's still suffering from a broken heart, Steve and that makes her fragile and confused. She might still love him or confused its still love she has for him. Tatiana cares about you, she has settled down still you left and that is enough reason to believe you have a chance with her. Even if it fails to work out you won't feel so bad like someone who didn't try at all "

"Am just saying don't go down without a fight, Tatiana has a soft spot for you use that to gain her love and maybe you might have a chance? "Eric said.

Steve sighed," Thank you, "he said getting up.

"Where are you going? "Eric asked.

"To ask her to forgive me "he staggered.

"Okay, let your bodyguards take you, your drunk so you can't drive, "he said

Eric sat back and frowned," Did I do the right thing? encouraging my friend's competitor for the love of his life, will things turn out okay " he took some liquor," won't Jack be angry when he finds out what I have done "
