My Room

"Tatiana left for a two-day business trip so Gabriel is with his grandparents," Patrica told Eric. "I miss him"

"Let's drive to Jack's parents and see him," he said.

"Okay, and let's buy some muffins for him," she said.

"I know they are yours but okay" Eric laughed.

"I will be retiring to my bed now. We have a long day tomorrow so let's get some sleep" Tatiana said getting up.

They had been going through her meeting plans for the next day and also making project plans with her crew.

They said their good nights and left for their rooms too.

"What are you still doing here?" Tatiana turned to Jack who was still sitting down in her room.

"You know I can't go to my room," he said.

"Why not"

"She's inside waiting for me, please let me stay here," he said.

"It's not my fault, you bought her on this trip to be with her so go entertain her" she smiled.

"She followed me here I didn't even know she was wire until I saw her in my room," he said.

"I thought you two were dating so please leave me alone and go to your girlfriend" Tatiana yawned opening her door.

"Tatiana please, you know I will never allow any other woman to touch my body apart from you" he smirked.

"Out," she said pointing outside.

He frowned walking up to her, "Am serious Tati, that girl looks like she will rip me apart if I go there and apart from that I don't want rumours to be spread about me and her. She already has a bad reputation".

Tatiana yawned again looking at him, "Take the couch, but it's only for today" she said closing the door.

Jack smiled, "Thank you, Tati"

"I hope you leave before am awake tomorrow morning," she said closing the door to her bedroom.

Jack was asleep on the couch when a loud cry noise woke him up.

He sprung up looking around alarmed. The cry was coming from Tatiana's room.

He rushed to the door but stopped pausing, he knocked, "Tati, are you okay" he called. But she kept crying, "I Am coming in now," he said opening the door.

He walked to the bed seeing her crying but her eyes were closed.

"Tati are you okay, what's happening" he knelt next to the bed.

"Mom, mom....please mom don't leave me" she cried tightly holding onto her covers.

"Tati, you need to wake up," he said softly moving his hand on her head.

"Mom, am sorry" she cried, her tears wetting her pillow.

"Shhh....don't cry," he said.

"Mom... Mom..."... "Tati, calm down"

Tatiana calmed down hearing his voice, "that's better, calm down and go back to sleep" he said.

"Mmm, I love you mother," she said.

He gulped, "I love you too Tati"

She went back to sleep and he sighed.

"Why are you having such nightmares? Mom is resting in peace to come to torture your dreams so why are you like this?" he said.

Tatiana woke up to feel warm calm breathing next to her, she opened her eyes to see Jack next to her.

He was sitting on the floor with his head next to head on her pillow.

She got up pushing him away, "what did I say you fool" she yelled.

He got up startled, "Morning" he yawned.

"How the hell are you inside my room and on my bed," she said.

"Ahh, well, I.." he tried to say.

"Well, what? I told you to take the couch and be gone before I woke and you decide to do the opposite" she jumped out of bed.

"I had no choice you held onto me so I stayed".

"What are you saying? Are you drunk this early in the morning" she frowned grabbing one of her slippers.

He saw her walk up to him with it high up in her hand and he moved back, "Tati calm down I have a valid reason why am here" he said.

"Then you will explain after am done," she said moving the slipper to hit him.

"Tati please listen" he laughed.

He ran out of the room, just when her staff walked into her room.

They all stood still looking at each other.

Tatiana pulled together her nightgown and threw the slipper down to her feet.

"Morning" you get ready here will I go take a shower she said.

"Okay boss, good morning" they answered.

She turned to Jack pointing at him angrily, "And you I want you out of here" she said.
