Awake

"Alex, thank you for coming" she welcomed her.

"How is he?" she asked.

"Stable but not awake yet," she said

"Look horrible" Alex smiled brushing her fingers in Tatiana's hair.

"I know but I don't want to leave his side," she said

Alex passed the bag of clothes she had bought, "Go wash up and change, don't let him wake up and see you all stained in his blood" pushing her to the door, "don't worry I will be here until you return" she said.

Tatiana nodded and left.

She looked at herself in the mirror and paused, her face, hands and dress all red with Jack's blood.

The images from last night flashed before her eyes, she squinted her eyes and turned away from the mirror.

She slowly cleaned herself and got out of the dress, then changed.

When she returned the doctor was leaving the room.

"He will wake up soon, so please stay by his side," he said.

"Okay, thank you," she said.

Alex smiled, "You look better"

"Thank you, Alex, and am sorry for what happened. She had just lost her mind"

"It's okay, my family isn't blaming anyone but her so she's lucky she passed away or she would be locked up by now," she said.

"But still I didn't want her to die"

"It's happened we can't change it, for now, don't think about anything else but you and Jack. Let us handle the rest" Alex hugged her. "Are you hungry I can go get you something"

"Maybe later, am fine now," she said.

"You having no appetite doesn't mean you are not hungry. I believe you haven't eaten anything since last night. So am going to go get you something and after you will rest too"

She had laid down next to Jack after having some food Alex bought.

Alex had left to help with Suzi's issue and promised to return in the evening.

"Tati..." she heard a faint voice call her. "Tati... Tati.."

She opened her eyes after discovering that it was Jack calling her.

"Jack" she looked up to see his eyes open. "Your awake" she smiled.

"Mmm, Tati....are you okay" he managed to say.

She laughed with tears in her eyes, "Am fine but your not"

"I can see that, my whole body hurts" he smiled.

She smiled wiping her tears away, "Let me call the doctor"
