17. I'm hard

"Get off me, Wang Yi-"

Fat tears started to roll down the teenager's face out of nowhere.

I-i want teacher so bad...

Xiao Xiao, whose hands were painfully pinned down on the bed, struggles with all her might but became powerless from having gotten bitten, energy slowly drifting away.

The last time she encountered something  similar, where she feared to be eaten by the predators, was more than two decades ago.

But once the jade rabbit achieved the title of a swordmaster in her teens, she started living the life of not being afraid of becoming a prey. Thereafter none of the predators even dared to think about eating her up, let alone bite a piece of her.

So how come out of everyone...it has to be my disciple...whose going to eat me like this?

Meanwhile, the merman Wang Yi began hearing things while hallucinating, particularly the people that wronged him appearing on this state of his.

There appeared memories of every people he have met, including his parents and Xie Hun.

Confused between reality and virtual, the boy hears many whispers, giving him the chill.

This must be the the corrupted demons work because this can't be happening!

His talons that were before short grew longer and sharp while from where he held her down his strength gets stronger, almost crushing the teacher, despite her being physically heavier.

W-why do I feel so terrible-

Images of werewolves uncle Xie Yun and general Xie Hun surrounding the rabbit Xiao Xiao, who was in fear filled his corrupted mind. Showing how they were about to eat her down like a prey that she was.

Suddenly an ugly feeling appeared on his guts, like somebody has taken something precious away from him.

With nerve building up from the scene, then he screams in rage,

NO!!! N-no, you can't take Xiao Xiao away from me!! No one can!!!

She's mine!!!

THAT'S MY WOMAN!!!

The boy yells, watching in horror how the two wolves, whose eyes filled with extreme hunger bored onto her tearful helpless ones as they began touching her.

Despite his agitating screams, nothing changed but still went on.

She can belong only to me!!

So get away from her!!!

He then squeezed his eyes shut, the more he wanted to fight, the harder he digged his dagger teeth into her, earning a chocked wail alongside a hiss from the jade rabbit under him.

Possesiveness sinking in due to his clouded mind and inner beast, without realizing that the one who was about to eat her weren't the werewolves, but him.

With hallucinations fading, he came back to reality where the merman teenager tasted her blood and a little bit of her flesh, finding it extremely delicious. Though his mind wanted him to pull away, his predator instics wants to savour the feeling longer and deeper.

I-i can't. I hurt mother...

I can't hurt mother!!!

And I,.. I won't -, I can't eat her!!!

Arghh!! My body is in so much pain-

e cries out from undergoing a painful transformation.

Then a gentle pat lands on his head, catching the merman boy off guard.

"...Wang Yi, I'm here so you're going to be okay. I won't hurt you."

She comforted the demon within him in false hope,

"W-when...or,uh, if we get home, I will cook noodles filled with vinegar, alright? Your favourites."

The soothing yet awkward voice of his foster mother pulled him back to the real word.

Realizing what he's done, Wang Yi lets go of  her neck as he trembled, a string of saliva and droplets of blood connecting them.

What is this...

He got up from her comforting embrace,

I'm a monster, aren't I?

he looked down at her injured neck in horror, panicking.

Oh, no I'm so horrible...

"I-i...I'm sorry-"

He tried, but suddenly starts to feel terribly nauseous.

The effects of eating human meat from different species as well as in one day started kicking in roughly.

I...I want to vomit-,arghh!!!

"It's fine, it doesn't really hurt much."

Xiao Xiao voiced out as she studies the younger one's undergoing transformation, noting that he looks more of his species now than his more of a human like nature before.

His black hair for disguise washed off, turning back to his original taupe colored while his eye pupils in the form of elliptical became even thinner than ever.

She then noticed that the black under  the boy's eyes becoming more prominent, giving off the sleepless look.

Wang Yi's skin that was lighter than Xiao Xiao's tanned one, has become more blue grayish, dagger teeth growing predatorly bigger than previously.

At the moment he looks...more like his mermaid mother.

Mixed children at first could unnoticeably be the species of one parent, but the other parent's genes can't be denied nor hidden, it will eventually show up as years go by.

Wang Yi was human before, just like his father, but now coming after his biologic mother, he has become a demon.

"N-no, It's not fine..! It's not!!"

He wiped his bloody mouth in agony, looking at his hands covered in rabbit's blood then at Xiao Xiao.

Tempting blood trickled down on the rabbit's marked neck, which he then instictively hungrily licked them all up with his tongue that turned longer and tubular, to which she started shaking.

"And i'm...."

Through the lifeless eyes tears streamed down the cheek,

"I'm not fine."

He finished with a pained whisper to her ear.

Feeling the need to empathy the broken child, the older denies with a sigh,

"...trust me, you're okay. You're just...becoming the you that you've always been inside."

Wiping his tears she added with a warm comforting smile,

"It's just how you are, there's nothing wrong with you. So stop crying like a baby."

Which, to her surprise, wasn't a comfort but triggered the merman, resulting in him to roughly press her down on the bed.

"STOP REGARDING ME LIKE I'M JUST SOME KID! I HATE IT!!"

He shouts at her face in a close distance before he leans in and his lips meet hers.

Xiao Xiao's eyes widen at his shamelessly boldness as her hands gets pinned down on top of her head.

I don't know if I should laugh or cry,

She innerly comtemplated, knowing his attempt at kissing worked poorly.

He only had his lips stupidly pressed onto her, which doesn't count as anything but a childish peck.

But nevertheless it left her shocked, thinking this was some sort of kid's play for the new generation that she wouldn't understand.

Only when the boy's hands creeps onto her chest, sharp talons ripping the top garment of the wedding robes off, did she realize this wasn't something to laugh about after all.

"WANG YI, SNAP OUT OF IT!"

Bringing her free legs to herself, with the strongest force she could master, the rabbit kicks the predator away, sending him flying out of the bed to the floor.

She huffed, covering her ripped clothes with her hand, patience running out.

"I was tolerant with you this whole time because of our mission and I've been especially patient because I understand you've been drugged by God knows what and controlled by the corrupted so I thought I won't blame you if you would have stopped, but who the freak do you think you are to freaking act like this towards me!!!!???"

The merman, who was currently experiencing the excruciating pain that were still lingering from the affects, gets up from the floor.

"...Isn't,- isn't any of this the reason why you've been keeping me?"

Said Wang Yi while he tries to go up to her once again.

WHAT'S WITH THIS DELUSIONAL CRAP, HUH!??

"I can not...stand being afar from you any more,  d-don't you feel the same? So I'm begging you, only this time-"

"Did you forget I'm your teacher!? What kind of freaking nonsense are you spouting!??!??"

"I don't care, none of that matters!! all it matters now is that I want-"

Before Wang Yi could finish his sentence, Xiao Xiao uses magic to make his full body meet the ground, locking his hands, neck and legs up with chains that she made.

The trapped boy on the floor got taken by surprise,

"M-mother...!??"

Xiao Xiao stood on top in front of the boy, her whole height and body towering above him like a giant.

Unexpectedly she brings up her leg and places her foot on the boy's chest. In a harsh manner she steps on him.

"You think I freaking care about what you want, huh!? Think you're so mighty and special!?"

Wang Yi gulps, sweating when she leans down to grab onto the chains that was on his neck. 

Bringing him up, their faces were only a few centimeters away from each other.

"Who do you regard yourself as for you to do whatever you want with me!!!???"

Her eyebrows  twitches in anger of disbelief as she looked down him.

This boy is sick. Is it because of the drug!??

"B- but mother, please..!!! You, you don't know how much it's hurting-"

He cries out, body severely heating up.

"So please help me out, I'm begging...!!!"

He covers his red face with his hands, desperate.

"...."

Xiao Xiao struggles to understand this boy, but seeing him pleading her like this somewhat softened her rabbit nature .

"-teacher... Can't I, just at least let me..."

The merman quiets down,

"allow me to hold you, please !! "

The woman who was towering above could only grit her teeth at his silly request, not responding.

"...mother? Please-"

"Stop it already! Fine, whatever!! You got it!? I said okay!?? So how long are you gonna act like a baby!??"

She snaps in frustration, rubbing her eyebrows in a distressed manner.

"I...I'll help you, so...you can hold me or whatever. As long as you won't die because of this drug, I'll do what I allow you to."

Pointing at her ripped upper cloth, she adds in a stern voice,

"Also I don't trust your sneaky hands, they'll be tied up whatsoever, understood?"

With teary eyes the now released Wang Yi noticed a faint redness on her cheeks, not quiet sure whether it was because of fury or shyness.

Did she...actually agree?

Does that mean she likes me!???

He assumes with excitement and gets up to throw himself at her.

"!!!"

The rabbit, caught off guard, didn't have time to stop him before they both lost balance and lands together on the bed, him lying on top of her.

The first that caught his attention was sniffling  her delicious scent, especially the place where he bit, so he leans in to press his lips there. In a way like he was kissing the mark he created on her as an apology.

"You taste so-..."

Xiao Xiao shuts his mouth up with a spell, not wanting to hear the predatory comments that might cause her a heart attack.

"Hmmpph!!"
