It was all a bust, she had planned on living off Kaleah's alimony after her divorce by claiming Ellen's child, but it seemed the Becketts had no plan of letting her go.
"What are we going to do now mother? I cannot stay in that dump any longer," Layla grumbles.
"Ugh…. They applied for a restraining order Layla, we will have to go back to that dump," Crystal says deflated, all her plans to live lavishly done down the drain.
[Meanwhile]
"He was just spewing nonsense Fredrick, that man was just angry about the gossip..."
"Dr Martin you can start with the DNA tests," Mr. Dawson says angrily,
"Honey please, that will not be necessary, trust me, he was just trying to start trouble," Mimi pleads.
She had been sitting with this secret for years, her husband Fredrick Dawson was in fact infertile.
"Father…... this is…..." Candice tries to plead with her angry father, the humiliation she would feel if her father were just a mere camera man compared to her father who is an executive in a big company.
"Candy love, please let us do this, I just want to know if your mother is unfaithful, you and Lily will always be my daughter regardless of the DNA," Fredrick says.
"Then why are you doing the DNA test?" Mimi asks, "it is unnecessary, if you love them as your own then why did you do the DNA test."
"Because I want to know if you cheated on me," Fredrick yells, making Mimi mad.
"Yes, I did, I cheated on you, because you were infertile and I needed kids, I did it for you, for your legacy, so that people don't call you names because of your infertility," Mimi yells.
"You did it for me, you cheated on me for my own sake? Are you even listen to yourself, if you found out I was infertile why didn't you tell me so we can try fertility treatment first?"
"Well…... because…. Um…" she didn't have a good reason why, she just enjoyed cheating, and not being caught made her even happier, that was until this fool destroyed her life.
"Yeah… you don't have any good reason, I can't believe I supported you while you were busy sleeping around one me," Fredrick says defeated.
"We are doing the DNA test, and I will be filing for divorce," the two girls wanted to defend their mother, but they knew she was wrong.
"I will be moving in with dad, if he allows," Lily says looking at Fredrick, "please even if you are not biologically our father, you should attain custody."
"Don't worry, I will," the three walked to Dr Martin to give the samples for the DNA test.
Mimi felt like her ears were buzzing, the whole studio's eyes were on her, everyone judging her.
That was her job for years, she had been judging other people's lives, because she felt her life was perfect, she felt no one would ever get the chance to judge her.
She shouldn't have gone that far clowning Clayton for his life choices that are not even questionable, it was all for views, views that are soon to be going to ashes.
"Mrs. Dawson, the boss is calling for you," fear, she felt all the forms of fear, she knew she was about to lose her job, her husband and daughters, she was going to lose everything.

Kaleah felt really happy but then again, she felt sad for the two girls that looked humiliated with Clayton's revelations.
"That was so gold," Taryn praises, "I never saw that gossiper that confused and scared."
"It was a bit mean," Kaleah says making everyone else groan with annoyance.
"Yeah, she has been malicious to you, for how long do you want it to go on? She deserved it," Cyan says.
"My grandson is so smart, he handled that fossil like a pro," Melisa praised, "now let us start the movie, enough about that woman."
They all watched Coco, while Zoey tried to watch it with them, she fell asleep just a few minutes into the movie.
"I am going to put Zoey to bed," Kaleah says standing up from her seat to pick Zoey from her seat.
Just when she left, the front door opened and behold the two men of the house were back.
"Oh…. You are back," Cyan says happily, "I am so proud of you, you destroyed that woman."
The women had paused the movie to praise Clayton of how he handle the situation with Mimi.
Though Clayton was happy about the praises, a certain someone was not in the mass, his wife, the very reason he went after Mimi.
"She is upstairs putting Zoey to sleep," Melisa teased when she noticed Clayton's wandering eyes.
Clayton immediately said his goodnights to the others before going upstairs to his wife, he finds Kaleah rocking Zoey's bed gently.
He stood at the door for a while admiring them, soon they would be four, he still felt a tinge bit of dislike towards the unborn child, but he also felt hopeful.
"So how has my beautiful girls' day been?" Clayton asks startling Kaleah.
"Well, it has been awesome, with you defending me on live TV and all," Kaleah says sheepishly.
Clayton walks to Kaleah side before giving her a hug, he kisses Zoey on the forehead who is busy humming in her sleep.
"Let us go to bed now," Clayton says.
"We are watching a..."
"You will watch the movie some other time, I really need to cuddle my wife," Clayton says.
Kaleah giggles, "thank you for defending me," she whispers as they walk to their room.

Taryn had been urging Conan to drive her back to her apartment, though they were in a relationship they were still taking it slow, slow enough for her to not want to sleep in his home.
Though Conan hated having to say goodbye to his girl every night, he still always followed her request without fail.
"So, are you ready to meet my parents?" Taryn asks.
"The same parents that have been forcing you to go on blind dates even though you told them you are in a relationship? Yes, of course I am ready" Conan says sarcastically.
"Come on Conan they will get over it," Taryn says, "they are just a bit too much sometimes."
"But they should learn to respect your boundaries Ryn," Conan defended.
Taryn could not counter his statement, it was right, but after the whole Mike thing, they had been hating everyone included in the fiasco, Conan included.
But she hated how Mike and his family were forgiven but Conan still needed to go extra miles for them to acknowledge him and he was not even in the wrong.
"Let's just hope for the best," Taryn says, she knew that the best was not what she is going to get.
The weekend had commenced, and it was time for dinner, and to no one's surprise, the Duffs were not really accepting of Conan.
"Good evening, sir," Clayton greets meeting Mr. Duff at the door, he had extended his hand to greet him, but Mr. Duff didn't meet him halfway.
"Come in Mr. Beckett," Mr. Duff says.
And as he gets inside the house, his face hardens with anger, "since my daughter decided to keep you in her life, I thought you and Mrs. Cook can get along."
"Father, I told you that this dinner was me introducing you to my boyfriend," Taryn says angrily.
"Well, Mrs. Cook came to apologize to Mr. Beckett and since he is too busy help his sinful sister-in-law…..."
"Mr. Duff, please be respectful when you speak about my sister-in-law," Conan says angrily.
"Why? Everyone saw the video of her…..." Mrs. Cook is stopped by a slap of her face from Taryn.
"Respect Kaleah Beckett, you have right to even talk about her," Taryn says, shocking both her parents and Mrs. Cook.
"Taryn what are you…..." her mother tries to scold her, but she stood up at once.
"It seems you are not happy with me choosing my own path, you act like you are happy for me but you are not, I told you, I love Conan and I will be with him, whether you accept him or not, this is the last time I am doing this, I am not going to seek for approval from father and mother anymore. Because father and mother don't care about my happiness, but their principles take president over their decisions."
"Ryn don't make any hasty decisions," Conan says.
"Well, it was long overdue, Conan lets go," Taryn says.
Mr. and Mrs. Duff watched as their daughter walked away, but deep down they only waited for Taryn to change her decision, which is how she always acted, she always changed her mind and came back to her parents. But they didn't know that this was the last they saw of their daughter.
