Yan was currently looking at his card.

More than 12 hours has passed since the absorption has started and finally the Data gem has vanished into the card while the card has a purple tinge on it.

He gently picked the card and then used his thoughts to access the newer functions of the card.

It was a web interface of the Shen Hai University.

That's it but that's wasn't it as well.

Now he had access to the network of Shen Hai University and with it came, group forum, group chats, associations, tasks, weapons, martial techniques and much much more.

He can even set a shedule of his lunch order that he will eat from SEPTEMBER 1 in it.

Although everything was greyed out for the moment.

Yan was completely blanked out by the information. It was overwhelming and unlike the pre-installed information of the card, the Shen Hai University interface didn't come with any pre-knowledge.

It seems like he had to learn the uses of all the different aspects of the interface by himself.

And that he did. He had his lesson learnt already. He was not going to deliver any more blood to anything else, not did he had the capability to, since he felt like he would die if another drop of his blood was taken out of him.

"So I can buy all kinds of combat related things from the University shops and it's various factions and looking at the price, it is relatively cheaper that the Martial Net."

"But on the other hand, the Martial Net had 9 Quadrillion items and the uni store has around 2 thousand at most. And the stuff at the University store clearly aren't of a scarce grade or resources."

"Students are free to not participate in classes and no actions will be taken against them till the time they don't do anything that breaks the school rules."

Yan looked throughout the 367 school rules and regulations and then went to sleep. His mind could not take anything more than that.

"I should be able to use them well."

The next day.

Yan was sitting at the dinner table with his Martial Card in his hands.

[Short for Martial Masters Identification card. I am not writing all that everytime.]

Yan was a person with Martial talent.

He was someone who could train into the mystical arts of cultivation and strengthen himself beyond the thinking of the mortal humans.

And for that, he needed to cultivate.

For that, he needed a cultivation method and he didn't have one.

Thankfully this problem was solved by the lowest tier free cultivation manual that the Shen Hai University Data gem had for free.

"But really, the Martial Card is literally a ticket to heaven and it doesn't even have a basic cultivation manual, the basis of all the Martial Masters. Isn't that just stupid."

Yan muttered while downloading the lowest tier cultivation manual into his soul. Yeah, he was downloading it into his soul via the Martial Card. The cultivation knowledge will be imprinted on his spiritual self and thus allowing him to cultivate.

The cultivation in the Great Blue Planet wasn't the same as the cultivation novels where one just need to memorize a cultivation techniques in their mind and then began their cultivation journey.

It was a little bit different in that the cultivation manuals or any cultivation techniques that the Great Blue Planet had didn't work like that.

The cultivation manuals were usually filled with cryptic ancient languages that once accepted will be embedded to the spiritual self/soul and thus allowing it the power to channel a greater force that was the so called spiritual energy.

It was like a spiritual weapon branding where different inscriptions were added to metals to produce different kinds of results.

The cultivation manuals of the Great Blue Planet did the same but with human souls.

But not every person can have a soul that can be branded with cryptic inscriptions.

Just like different metals have different level of conductivity, the human souls of the Great Blue Planet were the same.

Every person was born different and has different spiritual strength.

Generally only people that have a spiritual strength that was higher than the others were capable of cultivation because only their souls were capable of withstanding the soul branding.

The soul branding allowed the humans to strengthen their whole existence and even beyond that.

But normal souls just gets torn to shreds when they are soul branded. Never to be reborn.

Something that was hidden by the general public by the government as it took the government quite a lot of tests to determine the exact level of soul strength that was required to be a Martial Master.

And the world government would do anything to hide that. This lead to the creation of the Martial Union and it has done it's job with perfection.

Onto the question of why the Martial Union or Martial Card doesn't provide any sort of cultivation techniques despite the many benefits of the card was because of the vehement disapproval and unrest by the various educational institutions of Martial Masters.

If the Martial Union is providing everything then what was the point of the Martial Universities and other institutions that wanted to make their own place into the Martial Net.

A person with Martial talent can just get everything from the Martial Union, be it educational materials, martial techniques, equipments, secret spots, jobs, houses, countries and even tutorials and tutors.

The world didn't need any kind of special universities till the time Martial Union existed.

So under the capitalist nature and greed of society, the Martial Union had to take a step back and make some amends.

On the other hands, the universities, in the fear of losing students, lowered the prices of most of the things, loosened their rules and regulations and most of all, provided more value to the students in exchange for their loyalty and wealth.

A living breathing Martial Master was a valuable asset that anyone would want.

And with this small prompt, a bloodied Yan looked at the balcony of his house. He had mistaken the nature of the technique and just decided to let his mind wander into different thoughts while watching the town from his balcony but it all ended when the cultivation manual was downloaded into his soul and then the soul branding started.

A vicious pain came and with it came the body of Yan crashing down from the third floor.

'Who told me to sit on the railing?"

Yan thought as his vision turned black.
