Chapter one: The x storm

Y/n's pov

B/n and I were on a ship that was headed toward whale Island "I can't wait to meet some new people!" I said excitedly jumping up and down "Woah calm down or you're gonna get sic-" B/n was cut off by me running to the edge of the boat and hurling on the side "Ughhh" I groaned, "I told you," B/n said with a serious tone "when the ship stops, I'm gonna kick your butt," I said before hurling again "mhm" he hummed.

After a while, the ship stopped And I could finally stand up straight again "finally we're here" I said sitting down with a bucket beside me "you good sis?" B/n asked "yep," I said while I jumped up, feeling Even better "ok," B/n said with a sarcastic tone "ima kill you," I said looking at B/n, "we will leave in 30 minutes" the captain yelled.

After my seasickness ended, we had 25 minutes till we left whale Island "hey let's go and look around" I said running off the ship "Woah sis calm down" B/n said chasing me.

We started to look around and saw a green-haired boy fishing "I wanna scare him" I told B/n "no!" B/n whispered and yelled "but it would be fun," I said "No you can't, he looks focused," B/n said in an annoyed tone "fineeeee," I said, We decided to go to the market.

We finally got to the market and started to buy stuff, and I saw these beautiful earrings. They were red diamond dagger earrings, "how much are these earrings?" I asked the merchant "they are 300 jennies" He said "okay I gave him around 400 jennies for the hard work he's been doing "hey kid you gave me 100 extra jennies" the merchant said, "oh I meant to, Its for your hard work!" I yelled as I was walking toward the ship.

After a few minutes, B/n and a Green haired boy walked onto the ship, "Hey sis!" B/n said while waving at me "oh hey" I said walking towards them "this is Gon, he's the green-haired boy who was fishing" B/n stated "Oh really" I said sarcastically "stop it" B/n said "geez I was only having fun" I said with an annoyed tone "hey Gon, I'm Y/n, I'm B/n's sister" I said with a smile on my face "well it nice to meet you" Gon said looking at me, all three of us head to the cargo room and sat on the boxes and had a nice conversion.

We (me, B/n, and gon) walked up to the top deck and saw a worker getting bullied, and who I assumed was the captain walked out of the helm of the ship "stop horsing around and get to work" the Captain said, an apple rolled in front of me "hey!" I said with the apple in my hand "you okay?" I said as I walked over to Katzo "yea I'm fine" Katzo said while looking at the captain "I said get back to work!" the captain shouted.

Gon started to sniff the air (I know it sounds weird) "hey guys! There's a storm coming" Gon said with a worried look on his face "and it's a big one" gon yelled to the captain, "ok, Y/n go get the sail and B/n help the crew" the captain said "sir, Y/n won't be able to do it" B/n said worried for his sister "Hey, I can do it" I said with a confident smile.

I ran to the sail still feeling sick from the swaying, I started to close the sail and run back inside the ship, and threw up in a barrel "sis! Are you okay?" B/n said running towards me "I'm fine" I said with a sickly expression.

After everything stopped we (me, B/n, Gon, and two other people) were called to the captain's office, "ok tell me your names and why you wanna become a hunter" The captain said looking at the 5 people standing in front of them "I'm Gon and I wanna be a hunter because I wanna be just like my father" Gon said looking at the captain, as I was about to speak I got cut off by the tall middle-aged man "wait we don't have to tell you anything" the tall middle-aged man said "I surprisingly agree with him" the blonde boy said "Katzo call the exam community" the captain said "I'm y/n and I want to be a hunter to help my family" I said B/n looks at me "what?" I said questioningly.

After the meeting, the boat started to sway and I started to feel sick, "B/n I don't feel so good" I said with a sickly expression "what's happening to her?" the captain asked "She gets seasick" B/n said "then how did she close the sail?" the captain said "I don't know she can do stuff I can't explain'' B/n said looking at me in the distance "B/and I need help-" I was cut off by throwing up on the edge of the ship, B/and runs toward me and pats my back, "sis it's gonna be okay" B/n said in a worried tone.

We finally got to the island and the captain gave us a hint that the exam would start at the big tree, but I could see someone standing behind the barrels "hey guys let's head to the big tree" Gon said running towards the group "but the bus is leaving soon" Leorio said while looking at gon trying to make sense of the situation "we should go to the big tree" I said looking at Leorio "let's go" Kurapika said. We all started to walk to the Big tree.

"Are we there yet?" Leorio Asks for the 20th time (god just shut up) "Leorio if you don't shut up I will not hesitate to throw you off a cliff"(you be the queen you are) I said with an annoyed tone, Leorio stopped talking and just followed the group "So B/n why do you want to become a hunter" Kurapika asked while walking "I honestly didn't want to be a hunter, but Y/n insisted on becoming one, so that's why I'm here" B/n explained while walking and rolling his eyes "So you only came here for you sister" Kurapika asked while looking at B/n "yep" B/n said with a confident smile "Stop being so modest, you want to become a hunter" I said smacked B/n in the back of the head.

After a while, we ended up in what looked like an abandoned village "Woah this place looks cool" I said looking at the buildings "Y/n pay attention" B/n said looking at the old lady from 10 miles away "we're not alone" B/n said "I know " I said listening to the little boy behind us "there's an old lady about 10 miles in front of us" B/n said, "how do you know that?" Leorio asked, "my brother has amazing eyesight," I said looking at B/n with a confident smile "and my sister has amazing hearing she can hear anything in a 100-mile radius," B/n said looking at me with a proud expression "wow, you're both amazing," Gon said with stars in his eyes "why thank you," I and B/n said in unison.
