chapter 16, a battle with iron hide

when I saw that iron hide had arrived I jumped away from the fight ,and looked at him closely. Big bulky man with a beared, leather amours and a big two bladed exe on his shoulder. So you're the one causing trouble here and you've killed my group I'll torture for years for this ,he said with apparent anger .

Wasting no time he brandished his axe at me full force ,I tried to dodge but it was deceptively fast with green Qi covering it .Dam it he's a wind attribute user too I can't beat him with speed at my current level. The axe grazed my shoulder leaving a thin cut bleeding slowly .

Realizing this guys treat I circulated the gray lightning Qi with full force all over my body. with sparks of gray lightning popping around my body I used the claws in gray colour and attacked Iron hide. he blocked my few punches with the blade of his exe.

Then a kick came my way I blocked with my own using movement technique to supplement it's power. That ended in a draw but with jim stepping back a little. Went for a low body shot but he parried it away with the axes shaft .We exchange a couple more moves before he swatted me away with the axes side.

Flew away a little and a backflip landing on my feet. Looking around the remaining bandits had me covered from all directions. I couldn't espace so I went back to fight the boss. Threw a left hook, he blocked it and tried to kick me away I side stepped the kick and tried my own aiming at his ribs.

Blocked it with his and and Oak splitting exe came at me full force. Punched the exe with both claws and stopped it's momentum .Moment later I heard a noise on my left look there the sub leader was attacking with his water encased sword .

Raised my gauntlets to block ,the attack force had me sliding a short while. My arms felt numb for a bit but the other bandits started to attack me. Made two lightning balls and threw them at the small fry.

Then I attacked the sub leader throwing punches .

He blocked them with his sword then I exploded a lightning ball on his sword blasting him away. Jumped away from from the explosion and threw a ball to the ground rising dust then another to the small fry.

I moved in and did short work of the distracted small fry.

I sliced the throats of the early stages killing 3 of them then crushed the necks of the initial stage. After killing them I attacked the leader ferociously. He ran in attacking me with his axe our attacks collided ending in a stalemate.

I went for an uppercut he blocked with axes shaft and kicked me away. Sliding back I saw the sub leader attacking with is sword again.

Dam I can't avoid this one let's just sell injury to injury. I stood still and when he was close I dodged a little his sword slashed my shoulder.

I punched his chest breaking ribs and electrifying him. I rolled away quickly and Iron hides axe hit where I was standing. I held my injured shoulder and burnt it with lightning to stop the bleeding. I only had half of my Qi left I need to finish this fast.

I ducked down and dodged the axe, slashed his thigh. Moved away from him and got intercepted by a sword. I blocked the sword with my gauntlets. Exchanged a few blows before I knocked him down went for the finishing blow but iron hide interrupted with a axe swing.

I hurriedly blocked the axe but was sent flying away ,with my shoulder wound opening again. I did a back flip to land but soon as i was turning over I saw a shadow in the woods. When I landed down I felt some danger tried to dodge but a sharp pain soon come from my back.

turning my head a black dressed bandit was there holding a dagger in my back. If I didn't try to dodge it would be in my heart .Fuck I said spitting out a mouthful of blood, forgot about the assassin. Three to one and I was injured things don't look good.

The assassin pulled out his dagger moved away turned to see a axe coming my way fast. No choice I used black lightning on my legs to dodge the attack then attacked the Injured man threw. He blocked my right punch with his sword .My left hand hit his injury going through his chest and sent lightning in it to finish off.

By the time they other two realized what was going on the man was dead. Withdrew my hand from his chest and condensed a lightning ball on one hand filling it with black lightning. Attacked iron hide again with right fights with his leg injured he couldn't move as fast as before

The assassin tried to attack me again from my left side. With the axe taking my right looking to sandwich me. I blocked the axe with one hand and got pushed back used the momentum to attack the incoming assassin with the lightning ball.

The dagger collided with the lightning ball and exploded blowing the assassin away with his dagger flying off. Jumped at the assassin pierced his heart with the energy claws .Now it's you and me I said turning to face the bandit leader who was looking to drink my blood.

He jumped and attacked with a overhead chop, rolled to the side to dodge. With berserk attacks the axe came at me with no end of rhyme .Blocked and dodged what I could but minor injuries started getting wider. I can't play passive here he's reserve is fuller than mine

I started punching and slashing with my claws and fists, he dodged some and ate some but we got locked at a stalemate. I'm running out of Qi fast with less than 10% left. Couldn't find a good solution to end this fight fast. Then I had a terrible idea .

So sorry but I need to win man, I waited for him to attack when the axe was coming my way. I used black lightning to dodge the attack and viciously kicked his unprotected nuts .He stopped moving with his mouth wide open and eyes almost popping out .

Took the chance and hit him with an uppercut the claws stabbed to his brain. And so the leader of the Iron hide bandits died a painful death. With all the bandits dead I ate a high grade healing pill and started collecting my spoils from the corpses .

After that I took the leaders heads as proof for the sect. Then searched the hide out for more loot but I found nothing good except some weapons beast cores in the leaders tent.
