A Friend in Need

Outside of the King's chamber

A lady was seen struggling with the guards and tried to force herself into the King's chamber.

"Young maiden, respect yourself and leave before the King comes out. "The king's guard said to her harshly.

"I won't leave until I speak with the king, don't you understand that I'm dying? "She yelled stubbornly as tears kept rolling down her cheeks.

"Take her away. "The King's bodyguard said to the other guards

"Yes, commander. "The guards don't seem to move by her tears as they try to throw her out before the King and the Princess show up.

"What is going on? "The king asked as he step into the scheme with the Princess.

The lady rushes to hug Princess Hina immediately after she set her eyes on her, while the Princess also hugs her back happily.

"Did you get hurt, my lady? have you been crying since yesterday? why are your eyes so red? are you okay? "She asked once and started checking the Princess out with her eyes, she sighed softly before moving to the king on her knees.

"Please your majesty, sell me along with her, I can't live without her anymore. "She said with tears.

"Come on Molly, did you think being a slave is a good idea? don't worry I will set you free and give you huge money to start a business, you are a good friend and sister to me, and I will never forget you. "Princess Hina said with a sad smile.

"I have already made up my mind, please my King grant my request and let me follow her. "Molly said crying out loud.

"Young lady, don't you want your freedom? she had already given you your freedom why don't leave and live a happy life, not as a slave? "The King asked and molly shake her head sideways.

"Are you sure about this? Latco kingdom is not like Bliss kingdom, they are very cruel, and you may lose your life in the process because they don't treat a slave like humans, they treat them like trash and kill them like animals, so, don't think of them going with her. "The King said in warning.

"I don't care my king, please let me go with her. "Molly replied stubbornly.

"Okay. "The king said and Molly jump on the Princess happily, while Princess Hina hugs her sadly

"She's a friend indeed. "The King said inwardly and try to control his hot tears.

Soon, the slave trader arrived and they speak with the commander.

Molly joins the other slaves. Everywhere became loud with cries immediately after Princess Hina joined the slave's line. When the slave trader was done with the commander, the slave's line start moving and the people crying became louder than before. Some were rolling on the floor while some were faint, and other are coursing the person that put the Bead of Oral in the Princess's chamber.

THE KING'S CHAMBER

King Gerald was drinking wine in an aggressive manner, he walked around his chamber with a bottle of wine and drank it directly from the bottle. Heaven knows how much he misses his daughter.

The slaves were divided into two. The females stay in a row, while the males stay in the other rows. Their hands were tied together by chains, which would never make them think of running away. The slave traders were surrounding them with whips, as they flog any slaves that walked slowly. Any whips landing on slaves send a thousand pains in their bodies.

Their eyes were all teary but Princess Hina stay strong with no emotions on her face. Many slaves died on the way to the Latco kingdom, while the slave traders throw some in the forest and some in the river. The journey from the Bliss kingdom to the Latco Kingdom took a week. Many die of hunger on their way because they tasted no food throughout their journey.

When they arrived at the Latco kingdom, they were directed to an open field without rest.

Two men and a Lady stand before them.

"Welcome to Latco kingdom, the most powerful kingdom in Emrerior land with the great ruler. I am Amber the head of the slaves, this is madam Mega (he said pointing at the lady beside him) she's the head maid, while Aladin (he pointed at the man on his right side) take care of the guards.

You must respect everyone in this palace and also follow the rules and regulations that guide you as a slave in this palace. I will tell you a little while Master Aladin and madam Mega will enlighten you more.

Looking straight into the Royal's eyes is forbidden in this palace.

As a slave, you dare raise your head when your master or any Royals is talking to you. If you look into any Royals eyes you may lose your head.

When any of the Royals is walking, you are not allowed to move, stay still and bowed your head till they are out of sight.

Bumping into a Royal is a sin, if you mistakenly bump into them or they bump into you, just say your last prayer.

And lastly, no slaves dare to look at the King's face, any slave that tries to will die cruelly. That's all for now, we will be choosing some of you in the palace, some for community work, while others will take care of the farmland.

A WEEK LATER

Hina and Molly were lucky to pick as a palace maids. Molly was assigned to work in the kitchen, while Hina was picked to work in the laundry.

Now, all the new slaves were in the hall waiting for the royals to show up. Two hours later, the Queen's mother and other royals except the king walked into the hall to address them.

"Listen up slaves, I'm the queen mother of this great kingdom, and here is Queen Army, and the king's mistresses, Mistress Ella and Mistress Bella. And lastly my Princesses, Princess Helena and Princess Emma. "The Queen's mother said pointing to them as they stood respectively.

So, you are now our slaves, you were sold to us by your worthless kingdom, this means we are your master, we own you with your soul, and we can use you like the animal that you are, and kill you when you made a single mistake, also gives you a deathful punishment when you try something funny.

So you are free to misbehave and die early. "The Queen's mother said with an evil smirk, while the slaves bowed in fear.

An eight-year-old Princess catwalk out to the female slaves and began to pick who she would want as her slaves.

She picked five out, and her eye landed on a very pretty blue eyes lady, which got her angry instantly.

"How dare a slave to be prettier than the royals!!" She said in her mind and walked toward the girl. She brings out a dagger and throws it at the slave, she stabs the slave several time and leaves her when the slave drop dead, while the guards clear her mess as if it's nothing.

"No slave must be prettier than Princess Helena, I must remain the prettiest in this kingdom. "Princess Helena said inwardly, and walk out of the hall with the other royals.

There are different comments from the slave as they all cry in pain, Princess Hina only cry because of Molly's life. While Molly cries because of her lady's cruel fate, she knew the princess has a soft heart and she swears to stay with her and serve her with her life.

"I will protect you with my last breath Molly. "Princess Hina said inwardly as she clean Molly's tears.

Princess Hina and Molly hug themself sadly before they follow madam Mega, who is in charge of the palace maid.

"Stop crying Molly with are in this together, and I promise to be there for you. "Princess Hina said with a forced smile.

"I promise to always be there for you my princess, I will serve you with my life. "Molly said sadly.

"You don't need to Molly, you are now my younger sister my responsibility is to care for you. "Princess Hina said playfully, and Molly wonder how she was able to smile and joke even in a hard time, no wonder she love the princess with her heart. Molly smiles and hugs the princess again, Princess Hina hugs her back and disarranges Molly's hair, when Molly tries to do the same, the princess moves back and makes a silly face.

"Enough you both, and follow me now. "Madam Mega said princess Hina and Molly realise where they are.
