"I'll do my run after I eat and once class is over," Jesse said as they walked up to the steel counter and picked up their food trays. They took a seat at the table that both Mac and Neil were sitting at.

"Mac, Neil, we have something to ask you, but it can wait until this afternoon," Ulric said.

"Is something wrong?" Mac asked.

"No, we just need your input about something private," Jesse said, shaking his head.

"Okay, we'll meet in your room after classes are over," Mac said.

After breakfast, Jesse and Ulric headed to class. Devin glanced up and waved as they walked through the door. They stood at their tables and listened to the teacher.

"Go slow," Ulric suggested. "I don't want you to tire yourself out," he said. Jesse smiled and mouthed, "Okay." Jesse worked on a low-grade potion while everyone else was working on medium-grade potions. Jesse would've been irritated, but knowing that Devin was in the same boat as him made him feel better.

After Jesse finished crafting the potion, he sat down cross-legged on the floor and meditated. When he heard the signal telling him that his soul force was back to max, Jesse crafted another potion. When class ended, Jesse checked his stats.

They headed back to their room and relaxed until a knock was heard. Jesse laid on the bed while Ulric answered the door.

"Hello," Mac said. "You said there was something that you wanted to discuss," he said. Neil stood beside him.

"Come on in," Ulric said, opening the door wider and stepping aside. Mac and Neil walked in and sat down at the desk.

"Hi, how was class?" Neil asked.

"It was good," Jesse and Ulric both said.

"So, what did you need to talk about?" Mac asked.

Jesse bit his lower lip and then sighed softly. "Um, I discovered I'm an omega and can get pregnant," he explained quietly. Mac and Neil glanced at each other, then returned their gaze to Jesse and Ulric.

"Oh, I see," Neil said. "I'm an omega as well," he said.

"You are?" Jesse asked.

"Yes, and Mac here is my mate," Neil said, holding Mac's hand.

"I didn't know," Jesse said, blushing.

Mac glanced at Neil and said, "Love, you talk with Jesse while I talk with Ulric,"

"Alright," Neil said, nodding his head. Neil sat down next to Jesse while Mac and Ulric stepped over to a corner of the room. "What do you need to know?" Neil asked.

"I'm not sure what questions to ask because this is new to me," Jesse admitted. Jesse thought for a few seconds, considering the correct questions. "What should I expect?" he asked.

"You will go through heat cycles every three months," Neil said. "Your first time will be painful," he said.

"Is there medicine I can take?" Jesse asked.

"For your first heat, it's not recommended," Neil said.

Jesse grew silent. He lowered his eyes and asked, "So, it'll hurt?" Sensing Jesse's change in mood, Ulric turned his head and smiled.

"It'll be less painful with your alpha around to soothe you," Neil said.

"I'm not ready to have kids yet," Jesse said. "I'm only 18," he said.

"That's understandable," Neil said. "You can always get suppressants and birth control," he said. "There is one major rule if you choose not to take medication," Neil said.

"And what's that?" Jesse asked.

"Only have Ulric near you because if other alphas get a whiff of your scent at that time of the month, they'll want to mate with you," he warned.

Everything that Jesse had been told was unreal. It was another item in his new life that he needed to rise above. There was so much about himself that he didn't know.

"Was your first time scary?" Jesse asked.

"Yes, but thanks to Mac, I was able to bear it," Neil said. Neil explained the symptoms of preheat so Jesse could know what to expect. Mac and Ulric walked up to them a few moments later.

"How did the talk go?" Mac asked.

"I learned lots," Jesse said. "I'm still a little nervous," he said.

Mac and Neil said their goodbyes and left Jesse and Ulric's room. "I have a lot to learn about being an omega," Jesse said.

"We'll learn about this together," Ulric said, sitting down beside Jesse.Relieved, Jesse leaned against Ulric and relaxed while the blonde held him tightly.

"Can we skip the running?" Jesse asked.

"Is something wrong?" Ulric asked.

"No," Jesse said, shaking his head. "I just want to stay in your arms," he said.

"Anything for you," Ulric said, kissing Jesse on his forehead.
