03 - A FEUD(BEFORE A FIMLY ONE)

ALL CAPS = HIGH VALYRIAN

They had to return to The red keep after six years to fight for Lucerys claim to inherit Driftmark.

However, her siblings had fallen ill and couldn't accompany them, Surnysta had caught something dreadful, and Aemma had sworn to stay by her side.

At first, her sister had tried to convince Visena to stay as well, to ensure she was safe from Alicent and her uncles, but Visena refused.

She and her cousins were strolling through the and towards the training grounds, the familiar clinking of swords echoing in the distance.

Whilst her cousins were talking about how much it had changed, she was formulating a plan to kill Aemond. During the years spent apart, she couldn't help but wish death or some harm upon him.

She was snapped out of her thoughts as Lucerys nudged her, "It's gotten bigger right?" he asked as they quickly came down the stairs and made their way to the training arena, where multiple people stood watching as two people fighting each other.

"See," Lucerys smirked as they got closer, "Vise agrees." Jacaerys rolled his eyes and focused his attention on the silver-haired boy.

Visena's eyes widened; he had indeed changed. He swung with more force and skill, but he also looked more mature. She hoped she wouldn't have to hear him speak; she hated his voice.

After throwing his broken shield to the side, Aemond performed a set of quick manoeuvres before pointing his sword at Ser criston cole, who congratulated him on his win with a solemn expression. However, he was obviously not thrilled at his defeat.

"I don't give a shit about tourneys." And there it was, another wonderful day ruined before any trouble started. His voice was less annoying but still had an awful sound knowing who it came from.

Aemond looked at his nephews and smirked at them, "nephews..." his eye fell on Visena, and he paused, "come to train with your brat of a cousin?" Visena felt the crowd's eyes fall on them momentarily, and she glared at Aemond.

"At least I'm not the arrogant prick." She responded, putting on a fake smile as his smirk dropped. But before more could be said, everyone turned as the gate opened, letting Vaemond in. She spun around and left, hearing footsteps padding behind her.

Her cousins? No, it was one pair. A dreaded thought crossed her mind, hell no, was she running into Aemond on her first day.

Aemond grabbed her wrist and wrenched it behind her back, "so you think you can just humiliate me and get away with it?" he sneered, looking at her with disdain. She glared at him but as she did he forced her to the ground. She had one free hand, she could grab her dagger and slit this bitches throa-

She stopped thinking as she saw a man standing in the hall, in his eyes a look of fury. Daemon, the rogue prince, marched forwards and planted his fist into Aemond's cheek. Visena stood quickly and kicked Aemond in his groin before smirking as Daemon dragged her off.

She was glad, she didn't have to touch the bastard's neck.
