CHAPTER 10

Alpha Douglas woke up a bit too excited than usual. He was eager to kill Dylan's supposed mate, whom he had refused to come rescue.

It would feel nice to send her bloody fur back to him, just for Dylan to understand that he wasn't bluffing at all.

Stretching from his large bed space, he got down happy as he hummed a tune to himself.

He almost threw a stool at the person knocking on his door loudly. The guard who was behind the door entered, shivering.

Still shivering, the guard tried to compose himself to avoid stuttering. "I'm sorry to announce to you, alpha, the captive is gone, and the guards are severely injured."

Blood rushed through Douglas's ears, and both of his brows furrowed together as he tried to decipher the information being passed onto him.
