  Dylan massaged the side of his head; he had too many things to worry about than dealing with Diane and her unscrupulous problems. The moment Ralph asked them to be seated, he felt like really beating some sense into him for ordering him around in his own space.

  Diane stood rigid, refusing to heed her mate's words, as she stubbornly stood behind a chair. Ralph licked his dry lips, trying to keep himself together. He had gotten so obsessed with seeing her. Everything about Diane drives him to the edge. All through the ride to the Lycan's pack, his heart palpitated. Thoughts of her refusing to return home with him held down his heart. And by the look of things, he might be right. As much as Ralph avoided using any form of force on the woman he loved, there would be a need for him to if she insisted on being childish.
