CHAPTER 47

Mona ran as fast as her wolf legs could carry her; she had been playing around the woods when she heard a loud howl. Peeking behind the array of leaves she hid in, she saw the one wolf she had been trying to keep away from. It was no other than alpha Dylan. Despite assuring herself that she could play it down and ignore his presence, her heart beat incredulously.

To make matters worse, she was stuck on the spot; her eyes marvelled at the sight of him. Mona would have thought he wouldn't be able to have such an effect on her again after seeing him about two times. But she was utterly wrong; everything about him was magical.

His eyes met hers, and Mona knew right there that it was over. Bracing herself, she made a turn, running farther into the woods, not caring about getting hurt in the process. All that mattered to Mona at the moment was getting away from the cruel alpha. He wouldn't spare her, and that is a definite truth.
