CHAPTER 64

Anxiety ate deep into him as he tried to steady himself. Mark huffed and puffed, trying to calm himself. He had sent a letter to Sansan, pleading with her to help talk to Mona on his behalf. For two days, he had not heard from her, it made him more bothered about their relationship status.

His acquaintance with Eva was a tricky one, and he needed to explain it to her as it was different from what Eva had blabbed the other day. However, his letter never got a reply, making him more bothered about what Mona thought about him.

Leaving his home early, Mark had made his way to the packhouse, determined to see Mona. Standing in front of her room after being directed to it, he knocked on the door slowly like it was fragile. He heard footsteps behind the door, and his heart picked a high pace.

He was ready to open his mouth and explain how deeply sorry he was, but to his disappointment, Sansan was the one who stepped out of the room.
