CHAPTER 66

Breathing loudly through his mouth, Dylan got off the carriage as it stopped in front of Elaina's home. He would have never thought his situation with Simone would become this aggressive. All through the night, since he had received Diane's letter and Foden's advice, he couldn't stay put in bed.

For days he had been disturbed by any discussion of her. Dylan was ready to call all of it quits and focus on something else. Upon seeing him, one of the guards rushed forward to knock on the door. It was opened within seconds.

Elaina had opened the door as she was about to leave the house. A small gasp escaped her mouth. "Alpha, you are here." She made a quick bow, lowering her gaze.

"How are you, Elaina?" Dylan inquired in a gruff voice.

"Please come in." She ushered him in, walking hurriedly to make a space for him.
