CHAPTER 78

Mona moved with a determined stride towards the way of the study. She no longer tried to wipe off the tears that kept streaming down her face. She was tired of having to harken to every of Dylan's orders without him bothering about the inconvenience she was causing.

No one can convince Mona that Dylan didn't send Mark on a mission that appears deadly to keep them apart. She feels it's in a bid to spite her. What she would never understand is why Dylan hates her so much and takes joy in seeing her unhappy. Even though Dylan has the power to have her killed and disposed of, she wouldn't hesitate to speak her truth till the end.

"Your temperature is rising, Mona." Her wolf warned.

"Don't try to make me calm down; that evil man won't get away with this. Not this time around. I won't let him." She retorted, shutting her wolf up.

When a guard tried to stop her from barging into the study, Mona, with all of her might, pushed him out of the way and opened the door violently.
