  Dylan watched in amusement as Mona plucked fruits in the orchard, humming a strange tune to herself. The both of them had become quite friendly towards each other. More from him as he could no longer hold back the strange feeling he had suddenly developed for her.

  And the more Mark stayed back, the more she lingered close to him due to her loneliness. It works in his favour.

  "How long have you been staring?" Mona inquired, trying to hide the blush creeping to her face as she stood in front of him.

  "No one told me I couldn't watch a pretty damsel at play." He flirted.

  Mona shook her head, moving away from him as she tried to hide the pleased look on her face. For a while now, Dylan has proven to her that he could be a sweet person. But it still doesn't stop her from doubting his intentions towards her.
