  Foden buttered up his bread, chewing on it like he was being forced to. He picked up the goblet to drink from it and did an almost silent belch.

  Sansan sat opposite him, giving him an eye roll from time to time. He tried his best to act like she wasn't there just for his own sanity. They have been at loggerheads with each other since the announcement of Mark's death. Foden can't understand why he has to bear the brunt of the incident when he knows nothing about it.

  "This food will go in the right direction if you quit glaring at me like that." He mumbled in frustration.

  Sansan kissed her teeth. Standing up, she left the dining table and headed straight to the room. Foden knows she is trying to keep their issues away from curious ears. Taking his time, he settled to eat his food properly, intending to go to her later on.
