CHAPTER 177

Mona stared at her environs; the entire space was filled with white lilies and roses. She looked lost, worried that she was far away from everyone. All of a sudden, she muttered Mark's name. She felt a wave of sweet-scented air blow past her. Glancing up in its direction, her eyes met with Mark's.

A gasp escaped her lips. He had his hands folded in front of him with a broad smile. "Mark?" She whispered. "Why are you here? Where am I?"

He crouched low in front of her, "you are in the dreamland, Mona. Why are you thinking so hard and causing yourself so much pain?"

A single tear dropped down her face, "I can't get rid of the guilt of your death and moving on. Despite your letter, my mind keeps replaying your death over again."

"Forgive yourself. It's not your fault." Mark repeated till he faded away.
