　　"What the hell is she doing here?" Brie asked irritated by the sight of Emily sitting next to Liam. She had been crying her eyes out trying to explain her side of the story so they could believe her and now Charleston decided to bring in this girl here. "This is a family meeting, not a disco party."


　　"Do I need to remind you that she is my wife?" Charleston asked.


　　He didn't want Emily to be a part of this case from the on the setting, and that was why he had not invited her when clearly he could have because she was his wife and she was part of the family and had every right to know what was going on in the family.


　　He knew she didn't even want to get to know his family, she seemed to still be enjoying her freedom in her head that she would one day leave this marriage and he really didn't want to have another argument with her regarding that but now it was becoming obvious that she could be very noisy.
