"Come in" Tess said.
"You called me ma, Sarah said so" Tina said, bowing her head.
Tess was seen knitting a purse, she glanced at Tina quickly and continued knitting.
"Have a seat!" Tess said pointing in the direction of a couch across the room.
"Ma'am, please let me stand this way," Tina said, sobbing quietly.
"No! I said, have a seat!" Tess commanded.
Tina hurriedly went to sit on the couch not wanting Tess to be vexed at her, she sat with her butt partly placed on the couch as she tipped her toes. Tess noticed Tina's nervousness and decided to make her more tense.
"How many years has it been since you started working here?" Tess asked Tina.
"Over ten years ma'am." Tina replied, and gestured with her fingers.
"Very well!" Tess replied, dropping the halfly done purse on her lap and looked intensely at Tina. "What's your position in this house?"
