CHAPTER 40 Love is torture

　　Smiles walked out of the company building, and stood by the road side as usual waiting for a taxi. There was no Derrick to drive her home today, because he had to go search more on his missing sister.

　　Not like she needed him now, all she wished for is to be left alone. Thank goodness he wasn't here, like that wish of hers wouldn't have been granted

　　Behind, was Keane and Lisa coming out of the building hand in hand with each other.

　　She saw them and was quick to divert her gaze away from them. She knew herself better than to watch them being all lovey .

　　As usual, his car stopped before him and they drove away.

　　She watches them leave, with no form of emotion. She's learned to brace up herself and not be the emotional type she's always been.

　　Stopping a taxi, she buds in quietly gazing at nothing, seemingly lost in thought.
