He kept on apologizing and whispering sweet words but I was more focused on the wet liquid running touching the skin on my nape. He's crying.

I suddenly felt bad for him, this isn't the first time I saw him cry but the fact that he did. I slowly changed my position and face him. His eyes were closed but tears still stung his eyes going down to his lips.

"It's fine," I said answered with my trembling lips, leading him to open his eyes and directly stared at me for a long time. His menacing eyes were still clouded with tears but I offer him a sweet smile to show him everything was alright.

Maybe I overreacted. It was my first time being compared to that word but I completely understand Zion's state. He was drunk and out of himself, I should've understood him before I reacted.

"I'm sorry too," I whispered and hugged my arms around his waist. He only stared at me and it took him a whole minute before he broke out a small smile.
