CHAPTER 2

　　"We should get her to the hospital"Erica suggested and they all agreed.

　　"David, Erica, Monica, Melanie, Desmond, stay behind and watch the house while Sonya and I Will take her to the hospital" Veronica said.

　　"Ok,"they all chorused.

　　They quickly called an ambulance and within minutes, the ambulance arrived and off they went to the hospital.

　　"Doctor, please help," Veronica yelled as the nurses moved Ana's stretcher into the ward.

　　"Miss, you'll have to fill out this form"the receptionist said.

　　"Ok," Veronica replied.

　　"Where's the form?"Sonya asked.

　　"Here you go"the receptionist said and handed her the form.

　　They quickly filled the form and gave it back to the receptionist.

　　"Will she be fine?"Sonya asked.

　　"I don't know, "the receptionist replied bluntly."It's all up to God," she said before another nurse started going through the form they filled.

　　"Oh my God!!!"The nurse exclaimed."Did you say she's Alexander Hamilton's wife?" she asked using her hands to cover her mouth in shock.

　　"Yes," Veronica replied.

　　"You must be crazy woman," she chipped in.

　　"What do you mean by that?" Veronica was confused.

　　"You brought in Alexander Hamilton's wife and you wrote that she was physically assaulted by Alexander,"the receptionist chipped in.

　　"And so? It's the truth,"Sonya said.

　　"Let me just advice you, you're wasting your time."The nurse said.

　　"What do you mean by that?" Veronica asked.

　　"Mr Hamilton is the most affluent man in all of country G. He can get himself out of anything with just a single word. He can also get anyone into the trouble with the law. I suggest you fill out another form because if he is to find out about this, you might not live free again," she said and diverted her attention back to her computer.

　　"What a life we live,"Sonya said.

　　"What's wrong with the life we live in?" Veronica asked.

　　"The rich can get away with anything and the poor don't get Justice. Just take a look at Ms Ana. She has just been assaulted by her husband yet she can't even get Justice,"Sonya said and sighed.

　　"You're right Sonya. Every time Mr Alex raises his hand to miss and the police finds out, they do nothing. They only apologize to sir for inconveniences. This is so unfair. I pray miss gets out of this one day and live a happy life like she deserves," Veronica said.

　　"Amen,"they heard a masculine voice say.

　　"Excuse me?"They turned and Saw a man, tall, blonde haired, pointed nose, well built body and a handsome physique.

　　"Hi, I'm Justin Balor. I run an NGO to help women who have being physically assaulted," he said, his deep voice sounding as pleasing as the melodious singing of birds.

　　"And why do you think we need your help?" Veronica asked.

　　"I just heard you say someone was physically assaulted so I thought I might be of help," he said running his fingers through that thick silk black hair of his.

　　"Well, thanks but you should not waste your time. The person who you'll be up against is someone who..."

　　"Alexander Hamilton? I can handle him" Justin said with a smirk on his face.

　　"What's wrong Alex?"The girl who was dressed provocatively asked with a seductive tone.

　　" Justin Balor, get me all I need to know about her Victoria," Alex said clenching his fists.

　　" Justin Balor? You know him?" she was smiling."Can you give me his number?" she asked bringing out her phone to type his number.

　　"You know him?" Alex asked stroking his chin.

　　"Who doesn't? He's a world renowned actor, musician and moreso, he is a high ranking official of the martinis,"

　　"Get out!!" he ordered as if upset that his girlfriend was drooling over another man.

　　"What's wrong with you Alex? Tell me. What did your foolish wife do this time?" Victoria asked caressing him.

　　"I'd rather not talk about this," Alex said coldly.

　　"Alright sweetie," she said as she started undressing him.

　　"Listen, I'm not in the mood for this,"Alex said holding her hands.

　　"You will soon," she said as she pushed him to the bed and stayed on him.

　　She planted kisses on him and covered them with a blanket.

　　SOME TIME LATER,

　　Alex stood up from the bed with his boxers.

　　"So soon?" Victoria asked covering herself with a blanket. It was obvious that she was naked.

　　"I have some where to be,"Alex said as he got dressed up."You should get dressed," he told her as he put on his shoes. After putting on his shoes, he put on his coat and made to leave.

　　"Where are you going Alex?" Victoria asked still covering herself with the blanket.

　　"I'm going to my office, where else?"Alex said.

　　"And what about my payment?" Victoria asked winking at him.

　　"Whore!!" he sighed."Never call me again," he said and threw some money at her before leaving.

　　"Who cares? As long as I get to make out with him." she said giggling. She quickly got dressed and left.

　　AT THE HOSPITAL

　　"doctor, how is miss Ana?"Sonya asked.

　　"She's better now. She's regained consciousness,"the doctor told her.

　　"What a relief!!" Veronica said.

　　"It's already evening doctor, has she had anything to eat?"Sonya asked.

　　"Yes. Well, I must say. You must thank Mr Balor, If not for him, we wouldn't have being able to treat her properly,"the doctor said."That reminds me, I haven't seen Mr Balor in some time. Where'd he go?"

　　"I don't know. Did he leave his contact number with you?" Veronica asked flipping her hair to her back.

　　" he didn't. But I believe he'll be back soon,"the doctor said."Well, excuse me,"the doctor said and left.

　　"What a God sent!!"Sonya soliloquised.

　　"Did you say something?" Veronica asked.

　　"Yeah. I'm just thinking of Justin and how hot he is,"Sonya admitted.

　　"Keep drooling and..."

　　"Drooling over who?" Justin asked walking in. His deep voice, he was now wearing a tight top which showed his wonderful physique. Sonya could not help but drool over him.

　　"No one,"Sonya replied admiring his wonderful physique.

　　"Has she regained consciousness?" Justin asked running his fingers through his hair which made him look hotter.

　　"Yes," Veronica replied

　　"Ok, let's go see her," Justin said as he walked to her ward. He halted when he noticed they weren't going with him."Aren't you coming?"

　　"We are,"they said still standing at a spot.

　　"If you are, then I believe you should be moving," he said and walked into the elevator.

　　"Oh sorry,"they said and ran into the elevator.
