Katie has a secret that she has been trying to desperately keep for years.  However, on the last night before is to leave for a prestigious internship, she spills her secret to Mike thinking that he is too drunk and won’t remember it.  Without a word, she leaves the next day and she hasn’t returned since.  That was six years ago. 
Mike also has a secret.  He wasn’t drunk that night and was just acting.  He had been acting drunk for years when the group would go out drinking together because he found Katie would talk more freely to him then.  He was so excited when she finally revealed her truth.  However, Katie left without saying anything to him and he hasn’t talk to her since.  Mike, however, won’t give up on her and has been searching for her ever since.  He won’t stop until he has found his Katie.

　　We stay with Jenny for about another 30 minutes before we reluctantly announce it is time for us to leave.  We say our goodbyes, and Casper gives Jenny a hug.  Her bright smile fades slightly when we head towards the door, pulling at my heart.  I wish we could do more for her.


　　As we step outside of the room, a nurse walks past us and into the room.  She stops momentarily in the doorway and glances over her shoulder.  “Don’t worry.  I’ll keep an eye on her.”


　　A strange heaviness fills the car on the drive back home, but it hasn’t put a damper on Casper’s mood.  He can’t stop talking about Jenny and everything they did.  He still has the same excitement as he did in the room with her.  I have a feeling he is going to want to go to the hospital to see her again.
