The Adventurers were seated at a high table as a line of servant girls emerged and frolicked slowly passed their table. They were beautified from head to toe, adorned with glittering , gold, square shaped earrings and dazzling ornaments . Their bare feet danced to the enchanting jingles of the jangling beads that adorned their ankles. They danced slowly and swayed to the admiration of the natives that were cheering beneath them. Holding strings of jewels, they placed it before Levi as offerings before belly dancing away.
" This is so boring that my eyeballs could literally pop themselves out." Conrad groaned. He used his finger to toss around the items that was on the plate before him. "And I think my food just moved."
"We can't stay here forever. Besides , they're distracted so this might be the best chance we have to leave." Kyra rolled her eyes."And personally , their naivety is pissing me off. How could they NOT know what a tooth brush is? The name virtually tells you that it's a brush that brushes your teeth! Who wouldn't know that?!"
"These people live on an isolated island with crude weapons and believe human sacrifices will bring about rain." Percival replied cynically with his hand tucked under his chin. "They couldn't even spell their own name even if they wanted to."
"Of all the places we could get stranded...' Avyanna yawned. "I'd rather be stuck in the middle of Salem Witch trials holding a black cat."
"Seriously is this food edible?" Conrad asked as he watched some food from his plate crawl away. "I am so not eating that."
"Here we are , being treated like gods and here you are saying that you're tired of being doted upon?!" Levi asked sharply.
"All I'm saying is that after a while it gets old. Getting worshipped endlessly out of fear isn't exactly the dream."
She was cut short by the High Priest who had now raised his hand in the air to call for silence. The whole crowd fell silence as every one edged to hear this respected man speak.
"In honour of the gods that have decided to grace us with their Divine Presence...." He began. "We have decided to present to them the very best our Empire can offer!"
The Old man then clapped his hands thrice and a number of slaves came forth bearing different wonderfully hand crafted objects and stacked them before the adventurers whose eyes widened in astonishment.
"Is that..." Avyanna gaped .
Conrad rubbed his eyes with his hands. "If I'm dreaming don't wake me up ."
"It's Diamonds !!!"
It was truly gold and not only that , gold and rubies and emeralds and every other gemstone that could possibly be in existence. Kyra's mouth watered at the sight of this beautiful heap before her.
"Its gold and so what? Its still a piece of rock." Levi smiled at the lady that came to take away his goblet and she actually fainted. The High Priest was about to continue speaking when he was beckoned by two other warrior men who needed his attention. They were speaking heatedly in tense whispers .
"Roll for Perception."
Su Ling tossed the die .

"Aw man."
Kyra peered carefully in that direction . But then she looked away and continued to marvel at the priceless jewels piled before her.
The indigenous men hurriedly concluded their strange conversation and the High Priest returned to his earlier position. However something wasn't sitting right with Percival.
"So what do you want to do?" Eva folded her arms as she spoke to Sky. "The die is in your hands."
"I'll Follow them." She replied as she shook the die in her palms. "If there's something they're hiding , I want to know it. But I'll need a diversion."
"Roll."

Fireworks shot into the air and exploded as the people instantly paid full attention to this wonderful sight. Everybody ooohed and aaahed in approbation for this was a indeed a celebration befit only for gods.
Taking up his Dragon Scale Sword , Percival silently crept away following the strapped men. They exited the Temple and they made their way further away from the Empire. These men moved with a peculiar quickness as they made their way through the jungle until they came to the edge of the island. Hidden by the twisted vines and fallen Leaves was a boat that might have been left there by previous explorers that weren't too lucky to receive a warm reception.
Percival couldn't believe his findings. So this was what the High Priest was talking to these males about. With these , he and the others would be out of this insane island in no time.
Percival began moving away ...
"Hold it." John cut in. "You can't just leave like that. You have to roll for Stealth."
"Since when do you have to roll to walk away?" Sky pursed her lips.
"Check the Rule book." He answered. "The Adventurers Society Rulebook . Page 12, Rule 32."
Obi placed a heavy book on the table. Flipping through the pages , he finally settled on a page and began to read ; "This rule is enacted explicitly for John! : You CAN NOT roll to go on a sex spree..."
John cleared his throat disconcertingly . "It was only that one time." He angled his chair towards Obi. "The next one."
"Okay. A player has to roll in order to determine his/her specific action throughout the game."
"I told you."
Sky huffed as she rolled the die. "Here goes nothing.

Percival began moving backwards but he stepped on a twig causing it to snap in two. The sound it produced was startling as if a cannon boomed in the silent jungle. The men were now on alert and examined their surroundings to catch sight of their watchers.
"Dznei!!! Kiriganu Azusa!"
Percival knew that the jig was up. Calmly walking out of the darkness , he approached the fierce men with his hands in the air.
"Come on men. Lets talk and go about in a civilised way?" He said persuasively as he made gestures of peace.
In reply , the tougher man beat his chest and pointed his Spear at the Paladin "Auga!!! Kinzagi!!!". The other men face their spears towards Percival and were ready to charge.
Percival took in a deep breath. "I didnt want to have to do this..." He took out his Dragon Scale Sword and smiled cheekily at his three opponents.
"But this is gonna be fun."

The celebrations had ended and the adventurers were ready to depart. Percival returned to inform them of the boat that was by the coast and it was then decided that it was for them to leave.
"Where are you going ?" Kyra asked as Avyanna turned away.
"I'm going to get Levi. You guys should get on the boat and we'll catch up."
They nodded and stole away into the trees. The Magus began walking in the direction of Levi's temple and picked up the pace with each step. When she finally arrived, she saw that he was seated on an ornate seat on a raised dais, encircled by a group of female servant that were worshipping him.
"We're getting the hell out of here." She called out to him but Levi did not even make an effort to respond. He just sat there looking all godly and such.
"Alright 'Great Lord of the heavens' Get off your lazy ass cos we're leaving." Avyanna said again but still got no reaction from him. Something about Levi was different now.
She could feel it.
Levi stared down at Avyanna with such indifference that sent shivers down her spine. He then spoke to her in an icy voice full of apathy "I'm not leaving..."
The Magus maintained a calm expression but her heart was pounding . This was a huge complication. It wasn't part of the plan. The plan was get in and get out. Not this.
They had little time till the natives woke to discover them gone and she didn't want to be around for the aftermath.
Avyanna gritted her teeth as she took out her Katana. "You are getting on that boat even if I have to haul your ass over there myself."
"We'll see about that." The white haired god derided as he rose from his throne.
