I will be your peace!!

Reena reached the mansion after her great day at the headoffice. She plodded to her room after ordering to bring her dinner to her room, looking around for HIM. Where is he? May be didn't return from his work.

He was calling her every two hours reminding her to eat something even though she said she is not any patient. She know he would have been so busy after that pub attack so she strictly warned him that she is perfectly fine and he don't need to call her this frequently but still Rocky being Rocky didn't stop calling her saying that he will come to her if she restricts his calls.

Reena changed into her night wear and is all set to go to sleep after having stomach full of delicious rotis by Fathima Amma. That's when she heard a knock. Here HE comes she thought and went to open the door with a smile playing on her lips.

But it wasn't HIM it was Maya, with a paper chat rolled in her hands. Reena signaled her to come in and offered a seat in the couch with herself sitting on a chair.

"What brings you here?" Reena asked with a stern expression she don't want to be rude and she can't be nice with this woman.

"I just want to show you the town plan. So that I can make some changes if you want."

Maya answered in a low voice.

"NO. I don't want to be interfered in this any more. And I obviously can't change anything in the absence of the emperor."

"Reena, he said to do this." Maya spoke and started showing her the plan. Reena observed that the corrections she said last time were made and the plan actually looked perfect this time.

"It's ideal. I think this should be implemented. " Reena said.

"That's great then. You finally noticed my hardwork." Maya said rolling back her chart as Reena kept her calm.

"I will have to discuss with Rocky." Maya announced and left the room.

Wait.

'ROCKY!!' This word was caught by Reena that actually seemed like the witch is calling one of her close friends. This pissed off Reena to a different extinct. Even she herself hardly calls him with a name and here this hellcat is doing that right before her. I have to be careful she thought drifting to sleep.

The sun kept peeking into the car as Rocky and Reena started living for their office. He just kept looking at her as she stared out of the window. He slowly started a conversation.

"So shona, how was your day yesterday?"

"Annoying as hell."

She replied giving him a glare and he just smiled a little taking her hand into his.

Reena had a look at their entwined hands. Her hand looked so tiny and fragile in his huge hand. Even she have long fingers but still she felt small. Rocky noticed her gaze and even his eyes travelled where hers were struck. He felt it like a reminder of how fragile she is. Her soft hands in his rough hands. It seemed like it even if he applies little more pressure she would get hurt by him.His office arrived making them come out from their thoughts.

Reena was seeing some of designs her staff has sent and is working on their corrections.

That's when she saw Maya has entered Rocky's cabin.

May be she is here to tell the plan is finalized and talk about implementation.

Whatever!! Reena again made herself busy in her work.

Her eyes again went to check on him. What are they doing. She saw it from the corner of her eyes that they were talking standing opposite to each other on either sides of the table where plan was lying.

After a few minutes she again averted her gaze to them in between her work. This time they were standing HIM with his regular cold face and Maya with a subtle smile on her lips.

He turned his face to look outside talking to her and maya's eyes fell on his well built chest through those opened up buttons.

Reena can feel that maya was checking him out and her anger knew no bounds. This witch is now eyeing him. She shouldn't be doing this.

She lower her head gritting her teeth in frustration and looked again at them. Her eyes popped out as she watched the next scene.

He was standing beside the table with his back facing Reena and Maya, she is not even visible May be she is standing before him that just her hand on the table is visible which is on the chart extremely close to him.

Reena couldn't even wait for a second. She stromed to his cabin just to know where is witch Maya actually standing.

What is going on.

Her innocent Raja don't even know her stupid intentions.

Sometimes It is Annoying to have a handsome devil as your man.

Reena open the door of his cabin with a great force that made both Rocky and Maya look at the door. But what concerned reena is their distance. They were at a decent distance, only her hand was close to him on the table. Reena breathed out in relief.

"What happened shona?" Rocky asked seeing her state.

"Nothing." Reena didn't have an answer to tell. Ofcourse, she can't say him that she came to see them.

"I just wanted to talk to you." Reena uttered after a pause.

Rocky is quite surprised with her answer after that drama of his enraged shout. They never got good time to talk with each other.

"So Maya. Get ready with all the details of the plan in a file and bring to me."

"Sure Rocky." She smiled at him and left.

While Reena fisted her hand in rage.

" what do you want to talk Shona?"

Rocky asked leisurely sitting on his chair.

Reena went to him and sat on his lap.

"Are you busy?" She asked bringing her face close to him.

"What is this shona? You are drunk this early in the morning." Rocky asked wide eyed while Reena is completely clueless about what he is saying.

"What? I'm not drunk." She said with a frown.

" But you behave like this only when you are drunk." He said with puppy eyes.

"Ah!!" Reena literally freaked at his answer. He looked so cute.

"Or may be you didn't have your drink since morning. Because you don't behave such dumb when drunk." She said pulling his left cheek.

"Shona!!" It sounded like a five year old complaining not to pull his cheeks, for which she cracked into laughter and again forwarded her hand to his right cheek to pull it.

"No. Shona!!"Rocky moved away and she didn't stop chasing his bearded cheek, laughing and moving in his lap.

"Shona!!" He grabbed her hand and twisted it over her back thus bringing her face too close to his.

Her laughs stopped as she noticed their proximity. He smirked at her reaction.

Their eyes met.

Reena suddenly got nervous and casted her eyes down. They should not do this, not before she confessed her feelings. If she kept looking into his dark orbs she will loose her control and may even confess her feelings without thinking twice. Rocky gently lifted her chin.

Just then the landline on his table started ringing.

Rocky picked up the call only to get furious, getting back to his monstrous form. His teeth gritting and hands fisted. Reena kept staring at him with a confusion look may be he got some other gang to deal with.

He looked so angry and she is sitting on his lap. Fear crept her mind as she remembered the scenes from day before yesterday.

"Keep me updated about it." He screamed.

Rocky turned to Reena who had a terrified look on her face and is confused whether to getup from his lap or not.

Rocky quickly threw his arms around her waist and buried his face in her neck. Reena was shocked at the sudden change of events. He nuzzled more and more not even uttering a word.

Then she understood that he is trying suppress his anger and wants her to soothe him.

Reena slowly kept her hand on his head and started running her fingers through his hair locks. He tightened his grip around her waist and pulled her more towards him.

"How peaceful!!" He muttered snuggling with his eyes closed as she kept caressing his hair and slowly massaging his neck with a polite smile.

This is what she expected him to be.

Rocky sniffed the vanilla scent from her and her shampoo smell is making him weak. He felt pleasant with the pleasure he was getting from her that he had forgot that someother gang from outside came to sneak into his empire for which he was so angry although his men caught them and killed them right there.

He opened his eyes to see her soft neck and nuzzled more into her black tresses.

How badly he wanted to kiss that neck but he didn't have her permission for that. He can't do it until she confesses her feelings.

He suddenly sat straight although he don't want to. Reena didn't remove her hands from him.

Rocky looked into her eyes as if asking if he had done some wrong pulling her without consent?

Reena understood his dilemma and smiled pulling him again into her embrace, caressing his hair.

'I will be the drizzle on your burning heart

I will always be there to cool you down whenever something is wrong.

I will be the peace you lacked for and the future you craved for.'

HER heart made a promise through it's beats and HIS heart heard it.
