How can we know that the person we have right now is destined for us? What can we do to change the fate we don't like?

Seeing the man you love the most having another girl, smiling at her, and making her feel special is like stabbing you with an invisible knife.

"What are you doing there Scarlet?" I gazed at the girl who sat beside me. She arched her eyebrow and throw gazed at the place I was looking. "Eh? Do you still love him? You're so dumb." I rolled my eyes at what she said.

I gazed at that man again standing a few meters away from us, "You know how much I love him," I said.

"And I saw how you begged for him, you're not in the fairytale woman, so you should move on now." She lightly punches my arm. I sighed and keep silent and rested my back on the stem of the tree.

I didn't expect that our relationship will be like this. I thought he was the one for me but I guess I'm wrong.

I wanted to ask what did I do for him to make me suffer like this. What did I do to make him leave me without saying goodbye? For living me hanging in the air and waiting for nothing. 

"I do love him so much," I whisper to the air as I feel a tear come out from my eye. 

Does he even love me...for real?

I wonder what really love is? Why do love have pain and need sacrifices?

How long has he been here? It's been a long time since I last saw him… 


“Scarlet?” I turned to Rina when she suddenly called to me, “Are you okay?” I looked back at him again, but he was no longer there on where he was standing before. 


“Whoy! are you okay?” I nodded and held Rina's hand and walked to the boutique. 


Is it even possible that I missed it, or is he really here? It's been too long since we met. 


“The clothes here are beautiful,” said Rina and held a dress. She grimaced when she saw the price. 


I laughed because of her action. I'm the same way she is when clothes are too expensive, “Let's buy everything you want,” I stated and smiled sweetly at her. 


“What? But Scar, it's too expensive.” 


“It's my birthday gift to you,” I said, “Happy Birthday, Rina.” She hugged me tightly as I wished her a happy birthday.
