Seeing the man you love the most having another girl, smiling at her, and making her feel special is like stabbing you with an invisible knife.

"What are you doing there Scarlet?" I gazed at the girl who sat beside me. She arched her eyebrow and throw gazed at the place I was looking. "Eh? Do you still love him? You're so dumb." I rolled my eyes at what she said.

I gazed at that man again standing a few meters away from us, "You know how much I love him," I said.

"And I saw how you begged for him, you're not in the fairytale woman, so you should move on now." She lightly punches my arm. I sighed and keep silent and rested my back on the stem of the tree.

I didn't expect that our relationship will be like this. I thought he was the one for me but I guess I'm wrong.

I wanted to ask what did I do for him to make me suffer like this. What did I do to make him leave me without saying goodbye? For living me hanging in the air and waiting for nothing. 

"I do love him so much," I whisper to the air as I feel a tear come out from my eye. 

Does he even love me...for real?

I wonder what really love is? Why do love have pain and need sacrifices?

I sighed when Scarlet ended the call. By the way, I'm Killua Asher Lustrado, you can call me whatever you want. 


As far as I know, Scarlet has family problems, her dad cheated on her mom. Her mommy left when she was three years old and two years after her brothers left her and went to America to study. 


All I know is that she was left in her father's care, who she hates so much because of what he did. She was very young since she experienced such things, so I wouldn't wonder why she is acting like this now. 


“Son? why are you still awake?” mommy asked when I went down to the kitchen. 


“Is something wrong?” she asked worriedly. I sighed and drank the water I took. 


“Do you still remember Scarlet?” I asked her, “I can't sleep because of her, I'm worried about her.” 


“Why? Is there something happened to her?” she asked, “How is she?”
