Gabriel turned and saw Gio in the middle of the room looking at him with a worried face.

A small smile appeared on Gabriel's lips. "Brother are you home?" Gabriel changes the subject.

"It's done." Gio still looks worried. "What-" Gio was cut off.

"Come on in, it's almost time for dinner." Gabriel cut off his brother's words. Maybe to be more precise, Gabriel wanted to avoid Gio's question.

Gio no longer continued his speech, then he followed his sister downstairs to have dinner with the whole family. At dinner, the only sound was the clinking of spoons, I don't know what the occupants of the house were thinking. Even Mr Mukesh looks silent too. "Did Mom allow Aleric to meet Iel?" Ask Gio again.

Poppy seemed to nod.

Another sigh was heard from the two men at the table.

"Just a moment." Poppy said quickly. "Iel doesn't want to see Aleric either, he's pretending to be asleep."

"Why did you allow Aleric to meet Iel?" Mister Mukesh replied.

"I thought maybe Iel could forget everything if he really tried to forgive Aleric. But, it seems I was wrong. Iel even looks gloomy again."

"Mom shouldn't have allowed Aleric to meet Iel. Because I did my best not to make the two of them meet." Hip said, looking at his mother.

"Yes, Mom, I'm sorry son." Poppy said sadly.

The three of them were silent for a moment, thinking about Gabriel's condition, who was always gloomy after meeting Aleric. They knew very well how Gabriel felt. "OK. Tomorrow I will talk to Iel. If he agrees, we will leave the day after tomorrow."

"Have you prepared everything?" asked Mr Mukesh.

"Alright Dad, everything's ready. It's just our departure."

"Will your sister agree?" Poppy looks doubtful.

"All right, I'm done. I'll follow nong upstairs Dad, Mom." Gio got up and walked up to the second floor to his sister's room.

When Gio entered Gabriel's room, he did not find the owner of the room inside. But the balcony door was open, maybe Gabriel was on the balcony, thought Gio.

"Yes." Gabriel said. Then the two of them walked inside. Gabriel seemed to be thinking, and suddenly grabbed his brother's hand.

"Sis Gio, will you accompany me to sleep tonight?" Gabriel asked quietly.

Gio turned and smiled at his sister. "Sure, I'll sleep with you. Come on." Gio grabbed Gabriel's hand and guided him to lie down on the bed.

"Go to sleep." Gio adjusted Gabriel's blanket. Then he also lay down beside his little brother.

Just as Gio was about to close his eyes, he was surprised by Gabriel who suddenly hugged him tightly. He felt Gabriel's body tremble. Without much question, Gio hugged his sister tightly.

"Cry." Gio said. "Cry if it can make you a little relieved. I will always be with you Iel. I will always take care of you." He rubbed his sister's head and kissed her repeatedly. As if he wanted to say that everything would be okay..

Gio hugged his brother tighter and cried. Really, he still feels so hurt by Aleric's betrayal. Gabriel still couldn't believe that Aleric would betray him. Gabriel always thinks, what is his fault? Until Aleric had the heart to betray him.

Gio's hand continued to rub his sister's head, occasionally he also kissed it. Giving Gabriel the calm he needed right now.
